I work for Target and they’re doing their death rattle right now with store policy. They’re literally setting everyone up to be fired that doesn’t want to be a slave to machine 24/7 365.
Let's be honest, it's not like they did anything truly constructive or meaningful for the LGBTQ+ community last month. It was just a month of cheap marketing. And they'll keep not doing anything for as long as people keep falling for it.
I always felt bad for this character. He was transformed into a villain by an accident, and in the end when he's restored to normal he's treated as the exact same villain. The guy was also a victim but was punished anyway. One of the few episodes of the show that left a bitter taste in my mouth even to this day.
Thank you for saying this. I've always hated the ending of this episode. One of the creators, Craig McCracken, said that, while he always intended this episode to end this way, he feels bad about it now and considers it far too mean-spirited. On a slightly lighter note, the girls and the clown are still on good terms, as the clown performed for their birthday bash later.

This guy genuinely gave me a fear for clowns. Now every time I encounter a clown in a game or something I instantly remember this horror character.

Didn't see a lot of corporate pandering this year.
TheBigBadBonerBiter
Apparently some places were still doing it but I had a similar observation. Felt much more muted this time around.

A month? A MONTH?! Fuck that. Shit's gay all year, son!

Publicly Traded Companies are not your friends. They aren't even your allies. They only go full rainbow to avoid getting canceled.

They do it because they're convinced pandering will be profitable.

its all marketing. same as pink tax, or green tax. But since it is so effective, it says more about the consumer than the company.

The clown is an appropriate analogy for protestwear-maniacs. Be neutral, be peaceful.

I take it that you prefer to play as a Nomad?
OtterlyMagnificent
Look, it's hard to make a decision. 34 years in and my bi ass still can't make a solid decision unless I only have one choice.
Kats8652
It's a shame Corpo has the best dialogue options while streetkid is under developped, Nomad has a pretty cool start though.
