So true.

Right?

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

and martinez out here showing off

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hoped Belgium or Iran would win the World Cup so tRump either had to hand them the trophy or TACO with a bullshit excuse. And Belgium would've done the Epstein Shuffle right in front of him, too.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Be got the golden glove... I didn't keep track of goalie stats, but i have a feeling he just got it for being on the winning team

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A good goalkeeper doesn't need to pick the ball out of his net. Conceding only one goal in the entire competition justifies the price.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If I am not mistaken (from memory, so check me), he gave up 0 goals in all WC games but one.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Indeed. Do they also look at shots on goal to make that determination? Say, for the sake of stats, the defense was so good that he only had to block 4 shots and allowed 1, where another team with a worse defense has a goalie that allowed 5 goals, but blocked 45 shots in the entire tournament... 80% block rate vs 90% block rate, if that is even the name for that stat.

Gotta hand it to the Spanish. They played a good game and honorable mention to Argentina's goalkeeper. He did his level best until he couldn't.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That was Spiderman disguise. He was the best player on the pitch for the first 90 minutes.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are they seriously gonna end the world cup on penalties?

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

No

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Good

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Wow, Unai Simon got really tanned since I saw the game just a little while go.. he must have been sipping his tea on a tanning bed

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

If Argentina wins on penalties now i am gonna be soooo mad, would be so unfair considering how the game has been.

1 week ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 1

Considering the screams I've been hearing outside, sounds less likely.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Spain scored... so maybe not.

1 week ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Twice

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

And thank fuck for that.

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Was a great goal

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why would that be unfair?

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Because Spain played much better than Argentina pretty much that whole game. PK's really go down to how good of a goalie you've got on your team, which Argentina goalie is better. Argentina would've most likely won PKs while playing a terrible game the 120 minutes before PKs. Spain truly earned that win with 20 shots vs Argentina's 1.

1 week ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

The only thing I appreciated about Argentina this cup was the quality of their keeper. He was playing with a broken finger and still was insane. The only reason Argentina didn't get annihilated, other than the refs, was that the keeper kept them in it. He needs a medal for his efforts.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If it's 0-0 then surely it's ridiculous to say one team has played worse

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

But if it's tied then the one team played good enough to force it to that shootout.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Unai Simon with the best seat in the house

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Spain got scored a single goal in the whole World Cup finals, eight matches. You can be proud Belgium.

1 week ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 0

For real? They went X - 0 for every game except Belgium? That's actually impressive. not bad, waffle-lovers.

1 week ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

That's like the best record ever, and in 8 matches, one more that other world cups.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For real. It’s not only that they’re good at defending, it’s the way they play, owning the ball, huge possession, then pressing after losing the ball. Rivals go chasing shadows the whole match.

1 week ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

What was Wenger thinking, sending Walcott on that early?

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

The trouble with A̶r̶s̶e̶n̶a̶l̶ Argentina is they always try and walk it in

SPAIN WINS

WE are world champions. And when I say we, I mean it. Men’s and Women’s World Champions this year.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Sorry but fuck Spain. Racist ass country that it is.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 33

Spain had a rise of fascism throughout their history and had a war over it where fascists won. Argentina harbored Nazi cowards who escaped Germany. Fact of the matter remains that today Spain has a leftist government and Argentina has Miele - far right idiotic turd and a big fan of Elon Musk. I have never seen so stupid and smug, second only to Trump

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Every country has racist assholes. Like Trump, and everyone hes associated with.

And most of Ohio... and a lot of Idaho. And... lots of other places. But. A quick google shows Spain has a lot of 'racism' areas too... and so does Russia. So does every country.

It's almost like... ignorant fuckheads exist in every country. And you shouldn't judge that entire country on the loud ignorant fuckheads.

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Nationalism is a fuckin plague. Just wanted to add that.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm from the US. I just wanted to say thank you for acknowledging this. I'm tired of being lumped in with MAGA idiots. We are not all assholes.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I try my fuckerest not to be anyways. I vote. Demo since agree 16 except one year. lol. libertarian. hey, it happens. that was a long while ago and I continue to vote demo. In particular socialist democrat. honestly lol

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, racist against… checks notes.. genocidal Zionists - which is not a race at all

1 week ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Just because they dont like zionist doesn't mean they're not racist. They dont like, let me check my notes, most people who are not white presenting.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

How are black players on Spanish white presenting exactly. And if we pick Argentina over them the only player that stands out is a fella with Scottish last name McAlister. Not one dark skinned player.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also against fucking Nazi generations in Argentina so....

1 week ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

You get that America took more Nazis than Argentina, and Argentina was colonized by Spanish right? And that Argentina banned slavery before Spain? Like in what world is Spain LESS RACIST than Argentina LMAO oh a few Nazis fucked off to Argentina therefore Spain is based and NEVER was a major player in the slave trade

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 8

Look up what Argentina did to its population of African descendants.

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Then who were you rooting for in this world cup final?

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I was cheering for Morocco. Awesome country, great people, football program is getting really good

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Nobody really. Maybe Mexico.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 11

Mexico played like a bunch of fucking dicks too, I was glad when they lost.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Okay. I'm not the one butt hurt about what you said and they had a reason to play like they did. Being in a country that they doesn't want them there.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ya. And their chants are a class act.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I started referring to the Argentinian goalkeeper as the new hand of God.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I keep forgetting there is some soccer thing going on.

1 week ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 8

Easy to do with WSOP going on.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Understandable. They've made it sure to make it as unmemorable as possible.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

I tried it too.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Football actually. We dopey Americans misnamed gridiron "football" football.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

In the USA, they play football with their hands and soccer with their feet. Weird.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That is why we misnamed it. It is uniquely American. "Beat the shit out of the other guy and take their land!" - George Carlin. Quite a history of that here and we are not done yet.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not anymore! Four more years of peace.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Handing over the trophy to Spain is going to be painful for Trump. Hahaha

1 week ago | Likes 167 Dislikes 3

And he's gonna bloat these dam mexican speaking Mexicans won!!!

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It'll be a Spain in the ass

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Why tf is he involved?

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He is besties with Infantino. FIFA president.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As predicted. Spanish players only briefly greeted him. Went straight to share warm greetings with Spanish king and Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez.

1 week ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

statistically speaking though 1 or 2 of those guys liked him

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 15

Nah

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Did he steal the trophy again?

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Can't blame em, Spanish king is a daddy

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

FFS. This site never stops of humilliating itself. The current spanish king has been involved in numerous corruption scandals. But you can't help it, right?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope. Every movement he has done to distance himself from his father's legacy, has been criticized because it seems oportunistic and gis goals seem to be just about his public image. Like waiting for the pandemic to make an anounce in hopes to it be buried under covid news. Is he doing a better hob than his father? Well... his father was a total piece of shit. I don't understand why people try to defend a king, even if he is the best king ever, he is still a stupid figure.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if only Iran had won >.> Trump might have had a stroke xD

1 week ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 0

He would have made some calls to get Iran disqualified.

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I fantasized about that too. That would have been spectacular.

1 week ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Don't you mean Spainful? It was right there, ya chowderhead!

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Hahah

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sadly not a fake photo:

1 week ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

They tried to get him out of the photo but the dumbass just stayed there.. Being booed at, in a wrong place, 0 situational awareness. Just look at the photo :D. They had to edit him out later.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"A winner's photo? Sure. I don't mind if the Spanish team is in it too."

1 week ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

This is prime edit material. Replace trump with literally anyone else

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Eh, based off the look of it, seems like Trump did a Trump thing and ingratiated himself into the photo, awkwardly standing on the side.

1 week ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

That’s right. A handler shuffled him out of the frame shortly after this

1 week ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Infantino moved him.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

So out of place. Did he get booed? An easy edit out if needed. Congratulations Spain!

1 week ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

I'm ashamed to say he got a lot of hate. Ashamed because imo it was not nearly enough, he deserves so much more hate!

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I reckon some (many?) are afraid of being spotted with cameras everywhere.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He got booed every time he was involved

1 week ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

I just listened to several videos. They vary depending on where the recording device was. He knows he is hated. Makes appearances out of spite. Hateful quasi-human.

1 week ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I normally don't give a fuck about the World Cup, but I needed Spain to win.

1. My Iberian blood compels me, and
2. Messi simps for Israel and I love the image of that wall-kisser kissing dirt.

1 week ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 14

NOTE: I fucked up. Messi only seems to have gone to Israel for work. And while he did go to the Western Wall, he also went to the West Bank. ANd his trip to the Western Wall may have simply been because it's also considered a holy site in Christianity, and Messi is Catholic.

Also, someone explained to me that the wall-kisser comment can come off as anti-Semitic and want to apologize for that. It was insensitive and that is not how I meant it. I meant no disrespect to the holy Jewish tradition.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That wall kisser comment is anti-Semitic, bro.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

How so?

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not, he's just trying to hold on to the thankfully fading guild trip.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nah, they gave a pretty good explanation as to why, I think.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For the record, I am genuinely asking. I want to properly hate Israel without being anti-Semitic. I don't want to give people a false impression of who I am, and I know mistakes can happen. So how exactly is my comment anti-Semitic and what can I change going forward?

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Sure, didn't mean it as a personal dig at you and maybe it's just a slur against religion in general for you. Kissing the Western Wall is a profound religious ritual. You're expressing contempt and ill will towards someone for their faith. If you go about "hating Israel" by hating people for their religion... That's just what "anti-Semitism" means.

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Ah. Yeah, that makes sense. My personal experience with it is mostly when I see politicians go to Israel and they make a big show of it, as if showing loyalty towards Israel. But you're right; the ritual isn't itself Israeli, even if Israel may use it as such. It's a Jewish tradition and I shouldn't forget it.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

How do you measure the profoundness? All you see is the performance.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just because I can't measure something doesn't mean it's not there.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Messi…. What?? First news for me.

1 week ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Yup. He's gone 4 times.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Da3PFZYjvhT/

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 10

So he only went there to play football?

1 week ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

Can you please point to the rule in football where players have to kiss the Western Wall in Jerusalem? The way people will defend people just for being good at a sport is pathetic.

https://forward.com/fast-forward/181701/barcelona-soccer-star-lionel-messi-visits-western/

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 6

??? The Western wall is a holy site for Christians. It's natural for a Catholic like Messi to visit and kiss the wall. It's the retaining wall for the Temple on the Mount, buddy. It's kind of a big fucking deal.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Well, FC Barcelona is on a peace tour in 2013, meeting with Palestinians in the West Bank, supporting Israeli and Palestinian children playing football together, and visiting Jerusalem and the Western Wall. On a peace tour, it's considered good form to familiarize oneself with the customs and traditions of the host country. Please don't overdo it.
