#10 happened to me with a forklift once. Had to get out to open the warehouse door, so I parked it on the ramp in front. Found out later that other people knew the parking brake wasn't working, but nobody told me or roped it off. I see it start to roll downhill, right towards a drop-off where it would land directly atop several parked cars.
Chased after it, and luckily had the presence of mind not to try to climb in, but instead put my hand on the gas pedal, bringing it to a stop.

Still not a good idea. That water definitely ended up in the AC intake and penetrated the door seals at the bottom at a minimum. Most of any regular car is not meant to be submerged under water even if exposed to the outdoors 24x7. If there are any electronics in the engine bay, you better hope to god they are potted.

#10 I tell myself that he could definitely have jumped in and saved it knowing it has that small stop to get the back wheels over. But at runtime there was no way to know that and it was too much of a risk. I don’t know what I would do after that. Sucks bad man.

#10 I was in stop and go traffic and saw a fender bender, the poor young woman looked dazed an confused, got out of her car, cell ohne in hand and that car just started rolling down the hill and she was looking at it trying to process the whole situation, the members of the other car like older/ experienced and seemed level headed so I think they helped her out

The car saw everything at the last second and you can hear the tires as they quickly change lanes to avoid the cones. It's possible they driver was speeding, but the road crew set up for failure
