I'm an atypical student and didn't pass one of my classes on my first go around. I had to retake my first year and I did so with flying colors. It has taken me 6 years to graduate medical school (normally 4), but I can officially say I'm a god damn doctor! We couldn't have a traditional celebration with the lockdown, but I'M A DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!

Where did you match?? Congrats!!

All the best. May the insurance corporations not rip out your heart and shit on it.

6 years ago | Likes 188 Dislikes 1

Joke's on them. I lost my heart a long time ago working EMS. I'll still have my compassion, but insurance can't take the non-existing heart

well now that yku're a doctor you might have access to a second hand hearth.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

6 years ago | Likes 108 Dislikes 3

In the vast majority of the world doctors care more about helping people. The US is an anomaly.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope to be the same

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

Why the confession? You put in the work. You deserve it. What area are you practicing in?

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

I'm going into internal medicine. It's a confession because I show emotion, but this is different for me

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

kinda sad it's so special for you to show emotions, but luckily they were happy ones :) good luck on your endeavour.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Congrats...Dr.! Make a difference.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Humans show emotion. You don’t have to not cry/have no emotions because you’re a guy. That’s old toxic masculinity garbage ideas.
