The saving grace for the humpback is that the grooves on its tummy and throat (called ventral pleats) are lined with specialized nerves that keep it from exploding from the sudden pressure.
Trains are quite heavy, have very narrow wheels compared to cars, and no flexibility at the contact point to form a flat surface. That combination makes hydroplaning much less likely. The risk would go up at high speed, though.
Maybe not literal hydroplaning, but with enough water and air in the cabins, might temporarily “float” (not displacing the water fast enough) the whole thing (not just an effect between wheels and surface) and lift the wheels of the track, especially in a curve.
I’m guessing it would have to be deep enough completely cover the wheels and get to the part of the train that might float. The floor of the car about chest height +/- if you stand next to a train.
Yeah I'd assume (not a physicist obviously) that there's a point where speed and water dispersion hit a ceiling and the train has zero grip but it has enough weight and motion to keep going.... hopefully straight. Plus the connection to other cars might provide the equivalent to downforce?

With a train, the slightest roll could lead to uneven displacement and friction leading to yaw. Hell even wind and imperfectly straight track would be enough to momentarily move the train off course enough the wheels are no longer aligned before they come back down. It doesn't take many derailed wheels to fully derail due to inertia.
