Well... I don't have WhatsApp and it ruins your communication pretty badly. I still stand on that decision.
But the flipside is that friends and family make plans or talk about something and you'll be the last to hear of it... if that.
So yeah, there's a certain pressure for people to join the crowd or be left out. This only gets worse if work uses WhatsApp for coordination. Then the "fun" times start.
