The whole series is amazing but this one is my personal fave

My favorite of all time, Tim Purcell and crew knocked it out of the park. No Sam and Max game since comes close imo. Play it here (https://archive.org/details/Sam_Max_Hit_the_Road)

A giant in the genre, still being remastered and enjoyed today! Play it here (https://archive.org/details/012182)

Tim Schafer is just brilliant and so is Full Throttle, the re-master this year was a blast to play. Play it here (https://archive.org/details/msdos_Full_Throttle_1995)

Every LSL was great, couldn't pick one. Al Lowe rules! Play Lounge Lizards here (https://archive.org/details/msdos_Leisure_Suit_Larry_1_-_Land_of_the_Lounge_Lizards_1987)

The Lucas Arts classic, one of the best ever. Play demo here (https://archive.org/details/IndianaJonesAndTheFateOfAtlantisDemo)

ToonStruck is really a wonderful point and click adventure with great animation, great puzzles and great depth. Wonderful forgotten game that I hope is remade at some point. Play it here (https://archive.org/details/msdos_Toonstruck_1995)

Another Lucas Arts/Tim Schafer masterpiece. Play it here (https://archive.org/details/Grim_Fandango)

Underrated classic, so fun and funny! Sierra rules! Play it here (https://archive.org/details/msdos_Freddy_Pharkas_Frontier_Pharmacist_1993)

imo the best BnB video game ever

Neverhood was incredible at the time, first time I remember seeing claymation in a video game. Maybe Clayfighter came first. Play a demo here (https://archive.org/details/Neverhood)

This was a really good point and click game, very funny, surprisingly good puzzles

This wasn't the best point and click game in any respect but Duckman was great.

Dog Tax! These are my favorites, I loved comedy point and clicks I'm sure I'm forgetting some gems. If anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear em

And these were the point'n'click adventures from the 80's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lwOzgFJxaQ

Thanks for including links to play. It's perfect timing for me to take a trip down memory lane as Manuel Calavera. You can call me Manny.

"but but technically Grim Fandango isn't a point and click adventure" says some dingus in this comment section

No Myst? That game was AMAZING.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It shone pale as bone, as I stood there alone. And I thought to myself how the moon, that night cast its light, on my hearts true delight ->

I love you for this!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It is Christopher Lloyd.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Back them up before the 3.5's & CD-ROMs corrupt, dude!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Already converted all to ISO as much as possible ;)

Same here.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

did you manage to forget "I Have no Mouth, and I Must Scream" ??

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

never played that one, looks kinda creepy. I'll give it a shot

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

consider yourself warned: it holds nothing sacred and pulls no punches.

Gabriel Knight Sins of the Fathers

Genuinely the most important video game in my life, for several reasons.

MY USERNAME IS FINALLY RELEVANT

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

No LOOM? Zack Mckrakin!? The Last Crusade? Lord of the Rings?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

LOVED Loom!! Took forever to get started. Had a friend play it a year back to make sure I wasn't just shit at the game. Took him... 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

10 hours to complete the game. Worst decision I ever made...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Laura Bow and the Dagger of Amon Ra was an excellent one, too.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I wasn't able to finish that one. I remember being impaled by a sword I tried taking off the wall. Never figured out how to beat the game.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hah! I remember the German chief of security's office. I touched everything in the room to see all the ways you could die. Worth it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh yeeessss. and colonel's bequest.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

LucasArts did some amazing things

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What about Myst?

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

Dude ...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Gateway 2000’s underrated companion

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A point-&-click adventure made with a point-&-click editor, hypercard. Remember when everything wanted to be web 2.0? That was web 0.9

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

WHERE IS QUEST FOR GLORY.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It walked into an alley and died because Sierra games are bastards.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"I'm going to poke this big blue balloon thing"

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

THANK YOU. That series influenced my taste in fantasy settings and set a bar for clever, but thoughtful, writing. Erana or Katrina?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Katrina. Erana was always some larger than life figure and only felt right with a Paladin.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Love Full Throttle https://youtu.be/1de0E3RZakg

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So great. Gotta love the march of the bunnies at the end

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Ripburger you son of a bitch" I have played through that game so many times. Gonna have to try the remaster

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ripburger you're dumber than dirt!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha yeah that's what I meant. It's been a while

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just discovered it has been remastered for modern OS. Replayed it on my iPad for 1€, look out for it, brought great memories back

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trying to squeeze the girls ass. " she's got a knife" .lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I played through it last week! First time I ever finished it. Never got through it as a kid, as I didn't understand english.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They recently released a remastered version on ios btw

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Broken Sword? No Broken Sword. Got Grim, which is good. But how could you forget Broken Sword?

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

So I need to download the copy I have on GOG and play it? Okay, fine.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

hmm never actually heard of it before. Thanks for the tip, looks good. I'm going to try to find and play it.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

You’ve never heard of broken sword???!!!???!???

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Me neither and I played a lot of PnC...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Any love for Dig?

9 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 0

Yes!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can’t use these things together

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

The Dig was an amazing game! I loved it, but always got stumped at the turtle puzzle.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That puzzle is the worst.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It wasn't worse than the robot puzzle. The one where you have to get the robot to pick up the lens and replace it to restore power.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That one was actually fairly easy with a little trial and error. the way the buttons are placed LOOKS alien, but their positions are...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

actually set up similarly to a D-Pad, with an up, down, left, right, action, etc. once you know that, it's just getting the timing right

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't believe how often I see lists like this that forget The Dig. Amazing.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

love the soundtrack too!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

One of my all-time favorites.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously! That was one of the greatest.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I fucking love THE DIG! Should've been a movie. Would've been the pseudo-Interstellar.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ahck! Bat guano!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have many crystals.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I could not activate those bridges for so very long it’s embarrassing.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Should've been made into a movie.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Would have been confused with Armageddon/Deep Impact at the same time. Hilariously, since it’s so different.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I read somewhere a long time ago The Dig was orginally written as a movie.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It was cinematic. Good ambient film music too.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love getting baked and playing that game, just for the soundtrack¡

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Coccyx.. lol

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was specifically looking for The Dig in this list and got really mad when it wasn't included. Such an amazing, atmospheric game.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not to mention the utterly ball-busting puzzles.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let's just. . . stare disapprovingly at OP. That'll teach 'em! ............ಠ_ಠ...............

Dominic Armato lives in my city and now works as a food critic.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Still do. Need to get it for my grandson...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My grandad did this for me, was the first game I ever played. That was 18 years ago and now I have internet friends and 400 games on steam

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm a very young Grandad, and i played it as a kid myself. Now I get to share all my classic faves with him!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I hope I get to be a grandad as cool as mine is, and you are. Rock on dude, bring that kid up right

9 years ago | Likes 142 Dislikes 1

The glaringest of glaring omissions

OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSS

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I loved the space quests games. Spinal Frontier was probably my favorite.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Police Quest too. Those were my jam.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I think the body of the kid in the dumpster in PQ4: open season freaked me out as a kid.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I vividly recall the head in the refrigerator at the end of Police Quest 4.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Man, I don't even remember this. I guess I'll have to play it again

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ahh classics! Should have included them

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

And police quest. Try cracking those games in the age before internet. Took me months!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Read your policeman's manual! Everything by the book!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Kings Quest II was my jam for a bit.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3 will always hold a special place in my heart.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The last one - mask of eternity. God I adored that game.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Call me a traditionalist, I couldn't get into that one! 3D didn't work for me!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And Chex Quest, the best quest

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Love that one!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

did you have the floppy or the CD version with voice-acting?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had the cd and the voice acting was awesome. The narration was done by the guy who played Gimli from LOTR.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love how those three guys at the bar constantly go off script to make elephant jokes

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I owned Floppy for 1 & 2 and picked up the rest in CD

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the voice acting was potential for the era
