Plus, their bites contains dangerous bacteria that can cause "seal finger" a very serious infection that moves into bone marrow and destroys bones and joints. Plus we are very dangerous to seals, flushing them off the beach exhausts them, and can separate them from their young. Stay far away from seals, watch them from a long distance and do not approach.

It’s not like Daytona Beach where you can just drive up for the weekend on a whim. It’s a national park, hundreds of miles off the mainland, with limited accommodations, entrance passes, etc. And while doable, it certainly isn’t cheap. You pay a lot to go. Point is, you go through enough hoops that you assume the people who are there want to be there for the right reasons. >

I was waiting for one to be in a mood and rip someone’s hand off.
