They’re confusing this issue with one where KG (other half of Tenacious D) made a joke involving the assassination of Trump on stage and they had to end the tour due to threats and their promoting company dipping out. JB made the public statement that they were taking a break due to that backlash and gets the brunt of the hate for it

Kyle never said anything about Palestine.
He made a joke on-stage about how the next person trying to assassinate Trump shouldn't miss (without having given Jack any heads-up or warning that he was going to do that), they got a ton of criticism, Jack apologized and cancelled the tour, and Kyle later apologized and said it was "terrible judgement".
And he's right; no matter what you think about the subject, doing it like he did is a terrible idea and affects everyone working on that tour.

Jack Black was one of the people signing the "No Hostage Left Behind" letter to Biden directly after the Oct 7, 2023 attack. He's also shared some posts critical of both Hamas and Israel.
From what I can find, that's pretty much it, but I'd suggest googling it yourself to make up your own mind though.
