First of all, countries are allowed to have relations with other countries. Secondly, you're wrong again. They had a fuel for sugar trade agreement and essentially nothing else when the decision to overthrow Castro was made. Also, the embargo started in 1958 before any USSR-Cuba relations.
If you want to move the goal posts, try to at least hit the goal after. Also, maybe read a book instead of lapping up all the US propaganda.
