Yeah but Kangaroo babies come out the size of like, jelly beans and then grow on the outside for the rest of the process. Honestly, I think they got one of the best deals pregnancy wise. It’s a sadly short list of animals who have it worse than humans :(
OK, sorry, serious question though. When the Joey enters the pouch its tiny, really defenseless. It just eats and lives in there, right? A) How long after climbing into the pouch do they climb out again? and B) Are they just swimming in their own poop and pee in there? is there a drain? do they wash them out? I have a B.S. in Microbiology and I honestly dont know the answers to these questions.
The actually have 4 nipples and each she produces 2 different kinds of milk. Momma is feeding 2 babies at one time. One that is completely out of the pouch but still nursing and knows which Nipple to feed from and that milk is for that stage One like this one that is still in the pouch, always feeds from its nipple cuz the milk is for that stage. One top of that momma is already prego with a 3rd baby that won’t be born till the one in the pouch is completely out
Literally about an hour ago I finished the office for the first time and saw this scene. Not my favorite show by a long shot, but I enjoyed the wholesome ending

the coming out part for the kangaroo is a lot less traumatic though, I'd take it.

Kangaroos are one of the few mammals to habitually conceal their breasts from males.

I wonder if Australian schools tell children in sex Ed use kangaroos as an example and then kids see this happen.

Nah, they subcontract to the dingoes for that, and farm out suburban attacks to the magpies.
