Space haven and the planet crafter for me

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm still letting space haven cook before I buy it, I want it to get closer to Rimworld's standards.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's me right now with Rune Factory 5.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love the concept of rune factory, but it seemed waaay too grindy to me last time I played one.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'll admit this new one is not that good. I still prefer rune factor 4 as the best one

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s been lost ark for me atm but who knows now long that will last

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Then a week later you're back to chasing that new game high.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unless you are playing Rimworld, that is easily a 1000+ hour value game

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Elden ring

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sometimes rediscovering an old game or even just a new update to a current game can be enough.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A while back, I got the "spring mod" for Fallout 4 and that changed the whole vibe.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I am extremely unhappy with how much I relate to this.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Hehehe, hubs got me The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt for my birthday tomorrow. It got here Wednesday and I’ve been enjoying it.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kirby, Elden Ring, Tiny Tina's Wonderland, Forbidden West...I'mma be here awhile

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Been really into tiny Tina’s wonderland

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

found the Borderlands fan

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

its too bad they never made any other games in that franchise after the first one

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I regret buying that last borderlands, its so boring.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

was it that obivious? lmao

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just started playing Minecraft for the first time in 10 years, very excite

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm playing a solo save right now too, RTX looks really good. Nobody else wants to play till 1.19.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Meanwhile 1.18 is turning out to be the new golden age of mods. Like, even Minecraft Comes Alive came back from the dead for 1.18!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm playing 1.16 :/

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was never able to find any cool mods for bedrock, all the ones I wanted are on Java

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Almost 100 hours into Forbidden West. My sleep schedule has suffered, but it's been worth it. Amazing game.

4 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Looking forward to PC port

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Currently replaying Zero Dawn while waiting for the pc release of FW. Probably have to replay it many times before that happens.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Ten hours in, It’s more of the same from the first, but the first is my favorite game, so I’m extremely happy with it.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not that far but I'm playing it too. Definitely an improvement on amount of content over the last game I played (Miles Morales)

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Aaah yes a DLC dressed as a sequel worth of Kojima! Still fun though.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh I had a blast and as a game it's just varied enough to be fun. But yeah 50 bucks for a story I finished in 3 days.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah it was good fun (minus Realm of the Sorcerer, fuck that!) Just feels like they've grabbed a WH2 build from 2019 though sometimes.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When did you beat the story? Think I was at 42h and I know there's a ton left but not sure about doubling the playtime

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I haven't yet, so no spoilers. I explore and side quest my way through a game, saving the story missions for 'as-needed'

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Took me about 100h to get the platinum trophy. Could still improve my gear but there's no point as all has been done. Had fun the whole time

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm 100 hours in, and still haven't done all of the main story, having too much fun collecting armors and upgrading stuff.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep I took the week off work for its release, hammered through it like a champ, now its finished and I dont know what to do with myself

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yea I got Crusaders Kings 3 in console. I’m still trying to understand how the hell to do anything! Awesome though

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh shit dat me

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or! Pick up an old game. Recently started playing swtor again after a 6 year break

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When that new season of Fortnite drops

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't buy 60 dollar games unless I know for sure I'm going to grind them to death. So I'm hesitant with buying Elden Ring. Maybe on sale.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can get a lot of newer game on sale at greenmangaming, they got a 16% discount on elden ring

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

FromSoft games tend to take a while to go on sale. I had planned on waiting myself, but then decided it was worth full price.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

From Soft games are the kinds of games that people tend to enjoy playing to death, they are good for multiple playthroughs.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sure, but dying all the time is not for me... I don't get enjoyment from the frustration. I know ER is easier, so I'll get it on sale.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But then if you never died once, are you even playing a game? Or are you watching a movie with a controller in your hand.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

If you're always dying and not actually making progress, what's even the point of playing a game to relax?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But that's not how it goes. For anyone. They are really not as hard as their reputation suggests. To the point where people intentionally

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is me, but with a puzzle

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Praise the pickle

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Weird West dropped today. I'm super stoked.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm almost done elden ring, 105 hours in and I just had to send my video card out for RMA today

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just finished the Mass Effect trilogy recently and had this feeling. Absolutely loved it.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Elden Ring has sustained me for over a month. Finally beat it and it will continue to sustain me for many months to come.

4 years ago | Likes 129 Dislikes 3

I am more excited for NG+ than I have ever been for any other game. I did NG as a pure melee build but NG+ is dragon sorcerer time!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just finished 100%ing it and now there's a void in my life...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They told me Malenia would be the hardest boss. But I cannot beat Elden Beast. I'm sure I will eventually, but goddamn it's tough!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same fellow tarnished, same.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

not months, years to come, if you are into doing evry objective

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Any tips for the Grafted guy? Dudes kicking my ass

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

A crown warrants strength brother

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Get good

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

If you don't have around 25-30 HP i would suggest trying to get to that or more, HP is very important in Elden Ring.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you can jump the quakes to get closer and get safe hits in.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Summon help, level up before the fight, and always try to get behind him. If he does ground stops, run away, and repeat.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Stay resilient, take breaks when frustration creeps in, and never give up. The harder they are, the harder you beat your chest when you win.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The game has two built in mechanics. Challenging and frustration. Trick is don't let one ruin it for you.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Godslayer talisman with black flame melts him. Bleed melts anyone. Stick to his dragon armpit. Buff lady golden summon tanks him eternally.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Grab a 100% physical block shield, helps a lot. Also find the skeleton militia summon cause they revive when they die like normal skeletons.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's an npc nearby you can talk to to get a summon. And his mid-ange attacks are easier to dodge than his long range attacks

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Godrick or Godfrey ? There's 2 as far as I know, Godrick is the one in Stormveil Castle.

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I can't even beat the giant at the front of the gates v_v

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like with all large dark souls enemies, stay around their feet until they are gonna resort to stomping. Roll through their legs alot.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I just beat the cave troll who is similar and got a flask upgrade somewhere so I'll try again soon.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Godrick, the duder in the castle, I believe

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Minor (not plot related) Spoiler below:

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can warp to sellia crystal tunnel super early by finding the trapped chest in the ruins east of the starting area in limgrave. Escape >

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Make sure you talk with the woman in a room near the golden seed tree. Exhaust her dialogue and you can summon her for the....

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Godrick fight. Makes it a lot easier, she's tanky af

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that's Godrick. So important to do first is make sure you have enough upgraded flasks. Try and find Golden Seeds and Sacred Tears.

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

If you want a hint where they are expand this comment. v

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Then it depends on your build. I got him after 2 tries but it's because I do magic so I let Nepheli Loux distract him together with summon.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I used the reduvia dagger first time I killed him. Does great bleed damage

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

For those who don't know bleed will build up until it "hemorrhages" dealing a % of their max HP as dmg. However not all enemies can be bled.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bleed works well on him and he can be staggered if you hit him hard enough. Summon ashes and the NPC you find earlier. You can explore ...

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bleed works on anything that has a semblance of skin it's so busted

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

level up and come back later. Though if the land turns red, go back. That place is hard.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just wait until games stop giving you purpose, and start giving you obligations to justify your spending.

4 years ago | Likes 270 Dislikes 1

Lost Ark?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Elden ring been great so far tho

4 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

Play different games. This isn't sarcasm, I felt the same way a while back, and it was really a problem with which games I played.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You play the wrong games

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Or they have depression

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's different than saying video games will lose purpose as someone gets older

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I haven't enjoyed gaming in over a decade. Wish something so simple made the good chemicals flow again.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I know right, been using it for an escape for so long but now it doesn't seem to work as well and idk what else to do

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's when I went back to learning guitar.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One of the few great things about getting old. More money to spend and you feels less obliged to do things.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My backlog is massive. I want to play them all, but feel no joy in it anymore.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because you have a huge backlog that you “have” to get to, just pick up a random indie game in a genre you dont play and play that for a bit

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is why I picked the disco option.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

World of Warcraft daylies?

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I was literally thinking that. Raid contents fun, but not worth the 30hr grind per character per expansion to play.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Someday these words won't give me a gut punch. Someday. Not today.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel you, yet I keep hoping that maybe this time I'll get some of that sweet serotonin. Elden ring has been a good distraction at least

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Said screw it and bought a 3070ti from newegg. Few days later back is so fucked up I can't sit. So can't game. FML

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So GTA

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

And anything square enix if you read whtt the publisher wrote at the beginning of the year

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol I hate what Final Fantasy has become. I can't be the only one.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And probably a lot of DLC

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

MMOs have been doing this to millions of us for like ~20yrs now. One of the only reasons I stuck around WoW for as long as I did was coz >

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had sunk SO much money and time into it that I felt like it would've been a waste to just throw it aside after 5yrs. So I played for 15+

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

God, this was me raid logging to do Naxx, despite having full BiS except KT mace (which I was 7th in prio for after trading down for 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

trinket), and not even enjoying the 90+ minute commitment. Fuck by the end I dreaded raid nights like they were another shift at work.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well I hit 30 next month and still hasn't happened to me yet. Video games all day erry day for me.

4 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 2

Mah dude

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 31, some of the day erry day

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Level 30? Gratz!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’m 36. Still hasn’t happened yet. So I guess you’re safe for another 6 years atleast.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Almost 40 here, games still a constant joy! Except specific bosses in Elden Ring, but that's ok too!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

38 here. Not stopping anytime soon.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same, friend. 30 later this year and games help me stay sane. It's less escapism and more something to master and explore.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No job, spouse or kids I gather?

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

No kids no spouse, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. Not hating on people, I just prefer focusing on myself. At least for now anyways.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kids sure, but why would spouse matter? Just game with them as well.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I'm 29 (married 6 years this October) and have a mortgage, I still spend my free time playing games. I dont plan on stopping.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I play games most days. I have a job, a wife, and she just told me less than 12 hours ago we're having our first kid.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just no kids. Why would spouse and/or job stop me from video games?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 31 and have a proper grown up job. No kids. Me and my OH playing games most nights after work.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 30 in May.... all day erry day!

4 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

40 in January. all day erry day.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I turned 40 in January, all day erry day!

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

What's been your favorite in the last 5 years?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Me too! Elden Ring has been the best game I’ve lasted in a while.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It'll be a while before I get to that, but it looks fun. Just finished dying light 1 and started division 2 with my gaming buddy.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just passed 30. Nothing really changes, don't worry. You're just officially not "with it" anymore.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

This, turning 31 this year. No idea what “it” is anymore. My nephew cringed when I asked if he still played Fortnite

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They're into Minecraft and Tommyinnit and Dream now. I think. Maybe that's 2020 though.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Really, Minecraft still? Back in my day you had to get an account on Mojang and buy it on their website and manually download each new vers

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think GTAV is really popular but really heavily modded. I see him start it up on steam all the time.
