This cruelty to animals. This person is pinching the cats head and ears back to make it look cute, and the cat's clearly uncomfortable.

There's not enough information in the video to conclusively deduce this, IMHO. What supplemental context do you have to deduce "this [is] cruelty to animals"?! "Clearly uncomfortable" to cruelty is ... a big leap.

I mean shiiiit, other people make me hella uncomfortable sometimes, is this defacto "cruelty" in your mind's eye? I would think not, but idk.

Is taking my cat to the vet cruel? Is moving with a pet cruel because "journey in a carrier is uncomfortable"?

Uncomfortable =/= Cruel

Ot's the fact that the cat mews in protest and then quickly twists out of his grip that says 'cruel' to me. The cat seeks to exit that situation. It's not being injured and this is its friend, so it's tolerant at first, but that doesn't mean the person isn't mistreating it. If you, the person who have basically all the power in the relationship, are forcing the animal to do something against its will for no good reason at all, that's cruelty imo. Especially if there's pain/discomfort involved.
