TBF i think women should not breastfeed in the open, there should be enough places like park benches, or even rooms for them were they can breastfeed in a little reclusive calm area so that they can care better for their children when doing it. But i think thats the opposite of gross women should go into the bathroom. But i am a German where you can see a women breast feeding in the public (most likely bus, Parkbench etc. and you keep simply a respectfull distance or stay silent around her (Bus)

As a father of one kid that was (and my wife wasn't exactly shy, since we live in a developed country) and one that definitely wasn't breastfed due to CLP, I have found that the only thought I have whenever I see a woman nursing her baby is a great big relief that a baby is being well fed and cared for. Perhaps unlike a lot of people whose regard for the baby mysteriously ends at birth.

I do agree but I'd phrase it differently. Men are taught to view all naked bodies with disgust and then their sexuality carves a hole in that attitude, leaving behind an attitude that fails in it's intended goal but does succeed in making men very judgemental and disgust-ridden.

On a similar note: one of the worst things men did is create a society where sex is something that happens to women, rather than something women want and actively participate in. Mixed with the fact that some of ther conservative ideals for a chaste woman are from men who view their ability to take a woman to bed/being good in bed as a man's only measure of value. Its like being dropped into a 4th season of a TV show, idk what the plot even is.

Things might be different in the US but, as a history graduate, I can't really imagine how a debate about breast feeding would come up in a history class at any level. We have passed the "Bot vs human balance" point on the internet, human traffic is only a percentage of online traffic and will continue to shrink as a proportion of internet content.
