Donald Trump announced three big wins on Friday and oversold every one of them.

He banned CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House "effective immediately." By evening nobody had left, and his own press office didn't know the details.

He said Denmark gave America "permanent control" of Greenland. Denmark says it agreed to keep its sovereignty and let the United States hold the military base it has run there since 1951. Then he said all 50 states joining his Medicaid drug pricing plan "alone should win us the midterms." Medicaid patients usually pay a few dollars for a prescription now, and whatever this plan saves goes to the states under terms nobody outside the agreement has seen.

You do understand there's an investigation ongoing? If there wasnt anything illegal or potentially, we wouldn't even know about it. Its pretty obvious it isn't just a gift, it's a political gift to garner favor. Unfortunately they are policing themselves, so do you think they'll find him guilty?

Its illegal for politicians or families to accept money in exchange for political or policy matters, from any foreign nation, not just hostile sanctioned war criminal ones. They just have to prove it.

Having worked for them, you might potentially be a creditor for any unpaid wages. And you'd get first dibs under bankruptcy laws so they'll be persistent until the case is settled.

Well I didnt do any work technically, they shut doors shortly after i started with them. If anything they would owe me for my time, however part of the specific work, they didnt pay for time in the first place. Wasting my time would be the only complaint for compensation which lol yeah naw not worth it.

They've all got **something** that they claim he's doing that makes all of it worth it to them. It's pretty much always lies they've been told though rather than anything he's *actually* doing.

On #4 I think Trump is blustering when now both the House and Senate have passed bills banning the US military from taking further hostile action against Iran.

They may be different bills but I expect they can soon get that sorted out so one bill passes both houses.

So Trump has to now submit a war plan to Congress vote including an exit point. Until that is done Trump is also not getting the $57 billion required to fund this war.

Except the house is in recess until after elections, so nothing gets done.

Since the Senate is still in session then all that needs to happen is a vote to pass the House bill.

When it comes down to it, you know the republicans have no spine and can't take trump out of their mouth long enough to for a super majority to be met. When it was meaningless and they knew it was never going to pass, they did it for election reasons.

Should Trump reject this bill then Congress can see this as Trump trying to deny them the right of Congress to regulate war leading to more votes.

Beyond that there are two other factors in play when Trump's war costs money where having that $57 billion bill denied can soon grind things to a halt.

Then the Republicans are quite vocal about getting gas and grocery prices down before the mid term elections. Lots of pressure on Trump currently to knock it off or soon political suicide.

Lead ammo is cheaper than copper, steel, etc. They want to fire off more rounds. I've been around dozens of far right gun owners. More than one has claimed to have a stockpile of ammo in the 10,000-50,000 round range. I'm not joking. They hoard the stuff, and some shoot a lot too. But that's a serious investment in money. So these pro-lead people are probably just trying to save a buck despite the environmental and safety costs.
