#13 Don't release the brake or take it out of gear, or that dog is going to take the car away

#6 Certainly unpopular opinion but that I think interresting to share: Asking the permission to a dad to mary her daughter, is considering her not responsible enough to make this decision alone without a tutor.

#14 Not five minutes before I saw this post, my boyfriend called me and said, "You hungry? I'm gonna pick up something for lunch."
I melted. Then when I saw this pic I sent it to him, and -he- melted. So, what I'm tryin' to say here is that I love this pic, I'm happy you shared it, and there's a lot of melting going on here.

#23 when my friend's daughter was two she was playing around with her food. So I told her "put that in your stomach instead." She looked at the food, lifted her shirt and looked at her stomach. I could see her thinking about how on earth she was going to accomplish that.

#12 PSA if you set it up in your phone's settings, it was default for me, you can make sure that two phone calls in a row break through do not disturb mode. Then tell your friends I am available day and night, just call twice in a row and I will answer. And you can still sleep in do not disturb mode knowing your friends can reach you if needed.

I thought #1 might be AI, but happily, it's not. This woman has been posting videos of skating with this horse on this road long before video generation was a thing.

#1 That's a really big dog to just take on a run. But you know what? Everyone's having a good time. 12/10 good doggohorse

#2 hit a chord within me I didn’t know existed.

On a somewhat related note, there's a book that might resonate in that direction. It's "Max, Mischa and the Tet offensive" by Johan Harstad, but be warned, it's rather massive!

#11 If you don't feel up to going outside to walk the dog, send the dinosaur. Nobody cares what the dinosaur looks like

#8 That dog looks like he's a grumpy old man complaining to himself about his getup. "Geh, they always put me in this coat and the guys make fun of me. And these boots! Don't get me started on these boots...."

#6 The AI SoCal uptalk on "As he died" just made the whole thing for me.

#4 Never cross the road in front of a bus. There are enough idiots who overtake a stopped bus and will kill you.

When my niece was 4 she ran up to me and yelled "i love you unca!" then smacked me right in the tacklebox and ran of giggling. It's a memory I can't wait to share at the reception if she gets married when she grows up (assuming I'm still around).

I hope you get to do it. That sounds like fun.

Kiddos and I have a game were I pretend to be super dumb and have no idea what I am doing. They love that game and laugh their butt off about any creative way I find to do stuff the wrong way. Like, pretending to not know how to get their pyjamas on them. Trying to get the pants on their heads. And then they correct me while dying laughing. It may take waaaay longer to get them dressed. But its time I refuse to not spend with them. It also helps my psych to see them laughing, because I cant.
