The thing is, Iran isn't al-qaeda. They're a sovereign nation with a built up military, economy, and intelligence community. They're unlikely to just throw a huge act of terror at the civilian populace of the military superpower that would *love* an excuse to carpet bomb the entirety of Iran right now. But because the US and especially this government is racist and stupid, there's this perception that the middle east is nothing but a wasteland full of random bearded men with turbans and bombs...

All trump need to do is to order a fake terroristic attack to one of his three letter agency, they will kill someone with non white skin, slap some unmarked military fatigue on his body and plant it with a bomb near some unimportant government facility without cameras. The explosion will deface the body and the intelligence will say the bomb was defective. BAM, terroristic attack.
