Gen. Milley used the "Red Phone" to calm the Chinese. The Chinese were worried that Trump was going to launch a strike in order to create a crisis and thereby maneuver himself thru some far-fetched plan to stay in office. They were also worried that Trump was completely unstable. Milley did his job.
Meanwhile, Republicans have no concerns about a President and his cronies who fostered a riot in the Capitol and attempted overthrow of our Congress and Democracy. Neither do they have any concerns about Trumps repeated attempts to push local officials to change the votes of Americans to throw states to him in the electoral college.
The only real concern Republicans have is that he embarrassed the Orange Messiah and verified how much of a lunatic the world thought, and thinks, he is.
