And by that time France has already been liberated for a few years.
She likely only lived 1–3 years under the occupation, so she likely has zero memory of the events.

That didn't happen in France, she never would have seen anything to do with the Holocaust. That was mostly on the Eastern side of the conflict. And since memory doesn't start forming till after the age of 2, most of the German activity would have been happening closer to the German boarder by the time she would start being able to remember things. So she would likely remember the aftermath, but not the events during it.
