I fold and put away my clothes every week, at the same time I take this week's load of washing out of the machine and hang it up. That way it's all just one chore. I could probably take it down earlier in the week, and get slightly more space in my bedroom, but that would be TWO chores so I can't be bothered.
Clothes don't actually need to be folded, especially underwear/socks/towels. Just take the clean clothes out of the hamper as needed then when it's empty throw all the dirty clothes in to be washed.
I never use the dryer, I just wash my clothes and hang them up on my drying racks. I almost never put the clothes away. They just stay there on the racks
My dryer has a refresh cycle so it always comes out of the dryer on the same day the dryer is ran. Just ignore how many times the refresh cycle is used on the same load.
OlemGolem
Technically no, so that's well done.
Maaatth
At least it didn't stay in the washing machine.
KaptainObveeus
You guys are folding it?
LesbianRedwings
You’re folding laundry? I legit put it away unfolded.
Heavenissize17socks
Laundry is getting done. Progress!
MadHatter69
Baby steps, baby!
LivingIsLearning
I giggled at this. Growing up with my mom having depression for like 25+ years, this could very well be her saying and doing this :D

Folding is 7-10 business days
NOINITIATIVE
*chuckles to self...then looks at pile of laundry awaiting folding on chair*
PilgrimScott
Why rush??
darkninja2992
You guys fold? I just have 2 baskets, one to get clean clothes from, and one to put dirty clothes in
Zuegma197777
How about having piles of stuff... And still know where everything is.
VibratingNipples

cousteau
I also do this so that they're super dry, because I want my clothes properly dried, and not because of laziness.
TheLiteraryMachine
I am currently, steadfastly ignoring the load of shirts I have in my dryer...
cousteau
Is "she" named Emma, by any chance?
hotrodny
I am friggin proud of myself if I do it within 14 days.
Eniff
You fold your laundry? I just have separate bins for clean and dirty.
dairyarcher7510
Does doing this make me depressed? Now I feel sad.

TheMurderousCricket
You mean "...as she folds her blue cheese that were once her clothes".
cousteau
I mean if the dryer is really good at doing its job, she'll only be folding a crumpled paper sheet that was once all her clothes.
figuringeights
Why would they be moldy?
Fhant
Hey, if she cultivated some good cheese, I'm down for it... As long as I have crackers.
DreamingOfDistantShores
From observing my partner, they just go on The Chair forever until needed.

Well, I have a huge

Only 6 days? Look at Ms. Get-Shit-Done over here!
killernerd
6-7 days because that's when I usually need to do the next load of laundry. If it wasn't for that there's no telling when I'd actually do it.
BleachItsWhatsForDinner
I suppose she'll show us all up and actually put it all away right away.
Grimmrog
folding? y cloth gat gravity ironed and then hung over into the closet. Folding is for people with time
literallymike
I have a pretty good bed --> hamper --> chair rotation going on right now that I don't want to mess up...
cousteau
Dafuq's a hamper? And why do you need more than two points in the cycle?
cousteau
Wait, is it a fancy word for "floor"?
vegivamp
It's like a small floor with walls.
literallymike
If they're in the hamper, there's a *chance* they'll make it to the next stage...
metroid2
They should just make folding machines. You throw your clean laundry in it and it folds everything for you.
susancreature
Normalize clean but rumpled clothes
metroid2
Way ahead of you. I don't fold mine.
comacomacomacomachameleon
every robotics engineer is busy making warehouse robots to put millions of people out of work because that's where the money is.
vegivamp
Towel folding is a legit part of robotics competitions. It is improbably hard to do both right and fast.
ThatShiftyMonkey
If they made a home model of a clothes folder, I'd throw money at them. At this point it'd only be a fistful of change, but hey
Akurei00
Watch it! You can put an eye out with those pennies!
