behaviors can be genetic so it all depends on that. If this was an idea the turkey learned, it will not be passed down.
IFoundOutThatYouCanHave63CharactersOntheUsernameHowCoolIsThat
Behaviours are also passed down to next generations. This can also be seen through transgenerational traits. More observable in humans...
are transgenerational losses and culture.

He's probably learned that increasing his size, combined with a possible set of colors he has specifically is stopping the vehicles, similar
to what an animal might discover with a predator.
hotdiewheels4
back in the old days seeing wild turkeys was a rare event....some things up.
MisanthropicAnthropoid
We see them all year long on Mass south shore. Just another bird these days.
MPinky
I've seen about a dozen around where I live and another handful near my work.
iguessihaveto
Same here in upstate New York w bald eagles! I only ever saw 1 wild one as a kid and traffic stopped to watch it. I've seen 5 since this Jan
Just flying near the highway where it runs along the Mohawk.

You can’t swing a dead cat by the tail without hitting a few turkeys in New Hampshire. We’re rife with the little bastards.

Same as here in Southern Ontario.

Conservation efforts, yo.
regalregina
Last year especially was prime condition for a huge influx in wild turkey population - lots to feed on and easier to flourish
I mean, they mainly stay in the woods... Shit I’ve seen em walking through downtown St. Louis... Go deer hunting, you’ll see em all the time
Ahhh this is in CT, ya idk about up there

Davincimode
is the a minimum gay you can be? Asking for a friend
Three. Three gay is the minimum. Eight gay max.
UglyHorribleGrouchyOldMan
You should be worried, they've been witnessed using a roadkill cat to attempt summoning a demon...
justoneofmany
Aww, is that one of their fallen brethren?
No, that's a dead cat.
Still sad and definitely stranger
lariskyme1
Actually I think they're thanking the demon for getting rid of that pesky cat. Tired of the cat messing with and killing their kin.
I haven't seen too many domestic felines able to take on a wild turkey.
If they're willing to take on a bear or 3 big dogs at a time, I don't think that they are afraid of much. The turkeys are just as crazy!
I turkey hunt almost every year, I'm always leery of approaching a "kill" until I'm sure that "shot=kill". I have a 6"L scar due to one.
