The text is in second person (addressing "you" as the subject) and the camera is a third person view but the overall effect is for you to imagine yourself in first person as the cat. This is why using "POV" in memes needs to die cause people get confused and it adds nothing to the meme. If you deleted the "POV:" from the meme we lose nothing.
We also don't know if any other vents or windows were open for fresh air. I'm assuming the person who has been traveling with a cat for 100,000 miles probably knows how to keep her safe. Look at that slow blink at the end, she's a happy kitty!

I lived in a truck with a dog for a couple years and worked. She passed at 11 yo from renal issues years after we settled into a stick built home. Im not saying there aren't stupid an irresponsible people out there, but its a good idea to slow down and observe before drawing a conclusion. Believe it or not it is possible to do this safely.

You cannot say "POV: I am a cat sitting on a bench" and then show the cat. The perspective is FROM THE CAT. The POV is what the cat sees. The film technique article describes this pretty well.
