taking ICE money in her campaign and giving ICE affiliates jobs. this GOP whore no more!
VOTE.ORG maine residents - and tell the GOP to GTFO with their masked goon army of corruption
TheJuiceLoosener
Well, sounds like a pretty strong case that the PAC and the campaign didn't coordinate on this one...
2dogsfing
Dumb as doorknobs , although stupidly rich ! I’ve been watching a ton of ads for Texas and Alabama politicians. I live in Pennsylvania, but it’s good to know who to root against .
GlenL
Even by the already low bar set by the Nazis, these MAGA fucks are so god damn stupid

These clowns!?!

Please feel free to waste more of your ads, Susan. Sincerely, a Mainer voting for Troy.

Well, as a Mainer that would explain why I haven't seen it.

Proving they're morons.
makesense
You think that is bad? I'm in Nebraska and our local 'Fox' affiliate has been running KEN PAXTON ads attacking James Talarico.
hungoveratworkguy
I would take the GOP more seriously if it wasn’t such a fucking joke
backrideup9
Firstly, ewww, why? Do you want to molest children? And secondly, you better take them as seriously as a heart attack because they kill for fun. Not kidding. They murder people in broad daylight with no consequence. They'll get to you eventually.
DoggoMom13
Can confirm! We live in the greater Portland, OR area and saw these ads on YT several times. We were so confused, this makes perfect sense (that they're idiots).
tocfanke4
I've been seeing Ken Paxton for Senate ads in Iowa on YouTube TV. Dude looks like one of the dumbest shitheads I've ever seen
smashpro1
Saw the same ads in Chicago on Fubo.

This is Hawks and Hawkeyes all over again. What you get from interference from people that don't live there.
TORQD
I love how no Left-Portland media pointed out the mistake and just took the money *chef's kiss*
TheMostKink
No one ever springs for the "we'll check your ad before sending it" premium charge.
Xenarion
I wouldn't be surprised if it was 99% automated.
rossimus
I once worked at an ad firm that specialized in political ads. They produced ads for both parties, but charged Republicans double for the same services. This wasn't just a personal political jab, there are just way fewer filmmakers who are willing to do them at all, so anyone who does can change whatever they want.
manymadmasks
Sounds about right. It's a lot of why they love AI; artists are overwhelmingly left leaning. As are scientists, doctors, engineers...
Aspernari
We have left media still?
Sincerely, someone in the Couve.
halliemeinecke
As a portlandian that knows all of our local news stations are owned by far-right publishers like Sinclair Media, I found that statement confusing as well.
expectnothingstillletdown
I would also like to know why I'm getting Sherrod Brown (Ohio Senator) attack ads all the time when I live in Washington.
Antrobus55
How in the fuck did these morons wind up running the country?
TehranosaurusWrecks
Could have been worse. Could have been Portland, CT, TX, or TN
iamahorriblemonsterwhodeservesdeath
People who didn't vote allowed them to do so. Actions, or inactions, have consequences.
ObeeJuanKenobi
Other morons voted for them. Twice. Well, thrice really, but the middle time some semblance of sanity barely won out.
Antrobus55
I mean, I kinda get why the Republicans don't feel bad about stealing from them - they're so fucking stupid that someone's gonna do it anyway.
Fentex
Morons vote for rethuglicunts a lot more than three times. These issues aren't new or even recent, they're just doing more damage now (having ruined most but not yet all - as they now threaten - of the U.S.A's goodish things).
rossimus
Fun fact, Portland Oregon is named after Portland Maine.
tombeithemist
..and the city got its moniker from a coin flip. --The bet was between the two city founders, to name the town (which was only known as The Clearing at the time) after the hometown of the winner. The winner was from Portland, Maine. (Had the coin gone 'tails', we would have long called the largest city in Oregon, "Boston"... home of the Boston Trailblazers, Boston Thorns, Boston Timbers, etc..
stryhf
It's also north of its namesake in latitude.
rossimus
Hey that fact was also fun!
Mahabazu
Which is the namesake of the Isle of Portland in South West England.
trigonman3
It's Portlands all the way down.
rossimus
Man we in the Anglosphere really are shit at naming new places lol
DukeDarkwood
Wait until you hear that the Portland in England was so named because the city was built on land situated about a port.
rossimus
😂

TBH, the fact that they are stupid may be our only saving grace....
Imademyselfsquirtle
Not stupid. Wealthy. Republicans grease people that is why they get away with it all.
Kaze54
Idk, they speak stupid better. They really connect with their audience.

DrewThe3DPrinterGuy
Except they'd gladly kill us all just to prove they aren't stupid. But they are. So we're fucked.
Eyeetsass
They can only demonstrate being smarter than you by visiting some sort of harm upon you. They can’t have a better idea, or win an argument with facts. It’s always cause harm. Like a full third of the population has generational ptsd handed down from the very first man a woman said no to.
bippityboppitybuttsex
Sure we are... but here's the question, if they were planning on blocking voting, why would they be spending so much to try to convince stupid people to vote for them?
Ivain
They're probably not going to straight up "Block" voting, but why would they need to in a winner-takes-all system where they only need to win by the barest of % to get total control?
bippityboppitybuttsex
I dunno, the put some taker state's ARNG units with guns in front of Washington DC ballot boxes...
Eyeetsass
It’s like discovering Godzilla is a child. Yes, it has a kitchen knife, but it doesn’t really know what to do with a kitchen knife. Either way, we still have to get that kitchen knife from the baby, and there’s significant risk involved.
bippityboppitybuttsex
I was talking to my rabbi 40 years ago (back when I still went to schul) and the subject of time travel came up and I mentioned killing Hitler as a baby... the Rabbi was in his 80s, kind of a legend in the rabbinical world, and he said, 'no, you don't kill a baby... you show him love and kindness, you raise him to respect others, to feel love from his family and experience joy'
Rabbis are annoying like that.
Eyeetsass
He’s right. There were a million tiny lessons that made Hitler what he was in the end. He began as a child, and anyone who has raised children knows hatred, and violence are taught the same as love, and compassion. That course could be interrupted. We could be doing that with children now, but instead we do nothing, and await their final form.
bippityboppitybuttsex
Of course he's right, that is why he's annoying... you think of what a person does as an adult and believe you can visit vengeance on them as a child, a child who has yet to do anything... hell, Deadpool couldn't even kill him.
bippityboppitybuttsex
I would like to note that this isn't theoretical... I mean it is, but the Bible literally has this story in Genesis 21:17, concerning Ishmael, when he is an innocent boy crying in the desert, the ministering angels ask God why He is saving a child whose descendants will one day harm the Jewish people. God replies with a powerful question: "What is he now? Righteous or wicked?" When they answer "righteous," God declares, "I judge a person only as he is in the moment."
Bastetsmorlock
How would the rabbi feel about going a little further back and introducing Mustache Man's parents to different people?
bippityboppitybuttsex
That would be fine, I think he didn't love the idea of killing a child... even in this final extremity.
IrrationalNumber
Letting yourself be ruled by stupid evil is more shameful than if they were at least smart.
txchief11
We have much bigger issues than shame.
bippityboppitybuttsex
Letting?
IrrationalNumber
Well, the alternative is that you are being outsmarted by stupid evil.
txchief11
Nah, still the gerrymandering, violence and guns
bippityboppitybuttsex
I mean, it is mostly a bungling disaster
