Oh you're taking the "it's the beef China rejected" joke literally. Good for you. That link is definitely the source of FactPost's tweet though: 29628 lb of meat imported recently (May), from Argentina, being recalled. OP just got lucky guessing it was Argentinian beef, I reckon.

HOWEVER the timeline does fit. China rejected a bunch of beef from Argentina in March 2026, the US imported this beef in May 2026. BUT that China rejection was for detecting a banned antibiotic, and it was only some beef. THIS recall is because this beef somehow skipped proper import inspection. So the "this is the beef China rejected" is a joke made possible by co-incidence.

Recalled not due to any specific contaminant, but because it was allowed to bypass inspection in the first place. Also issued on the 7th. Also not specifically the ground beef recently announced by the Trump admin, though also not unrelated to their corruption and incompetent attempts to sway the midterms by poorly easing pain points that will affect voters opinions.
