"If I buy one you wont come back? Then I'll take one."

This is like the harmless version of advertising glass repair on a brick through the window.

"Aren't you soliciting" Yes, because there's not a no soliciting sign, would you like one?

In the UK a solicitor is a lawyer, so the first time I went to the UK I was confused by all the "no solicitors"signs

was that bill clinton‽...

Have you considered cropping your videos before posting?

Joke's on you, I already have a No Soliciting sign. That some salescritters ignore anyway.

When have sales people and marketers ever paid any attention to signs or letters or settings that say effectively "fuck off stop bothering me!"?

I have one that says no soliciting unless you're selling cookies. A lot of people ignore it but I give some credit to the guy who asked if he came back with cookies if I'd listen to his sales pitch. I've had slightly better lunch with a 18 inch wide sign that says PLEASE DO NOT KNOCK covered in dog prints. Either that or I've already worked through all the door to door sales people in the area.

That's a good harmless prank, but I would probably still be a little annoyed. I'm glad these three took it well

Only a little? You're a better person than I am.

I have a panic attack anytime someone knocks on my door. The sheer amount of fear going through my mind. I'd find this hilarious

These are the 3 he included in the video.

I assume there were others and he didn't think their reactions were worth our time. I enjoyed the three

I would love this, but it would require me to put on pants so I could answer the door, and that would be a little annoying.

I answered the door naked a few times after confirming it wasn't a neighbor or a kid. You took the risk. Here's the reward.

Are you like me where you have a chair with a pair of pants thrown over strategically so you can grab and step right in?
I also have a chair with a tshirt. My neighbours probably think I’m broke wearing the same clothes for weeks at a time..

Every one of those entry doors are north of 50,000$, easily

2 weeks ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

these days a 2 bedroom former crack house with 2 feet of water in the basement is a millionare house if it's in the city

Doesn't even matter if it's the city here in Australia. A 1960s fibro house out in a notoriously crime-ridden western Sydney suburb, 2.5 hours from the city, still floats around $1M

they started as 150 thousand dollar homes.

That could be bought by a shoe salesman who had a stay at home wife

Yeah.. in 1988! When we also coundt afford them!

My parents house in 1999 was 150,000 and the fucking thing was made of bricks and molding. That thing is like 699 now, too bad they moved 15 years ago.

My grandparents sold their house in socal in the 60s for the huge sum of $21K. And moved into a trailer park.

Gotta move up in the world.

My parents bought theirs in 1970, $10k which is $70k in today's money. Just bought it after some lawsuit bullshit from one member of the family who wanted to get rid of it to make money... Evaluated at $340k last spring and it's in buttfuck nowhere with fields on either sides and behind.

My parents are too ashamed to admit how cheap and easy they got their first homes.

Neither of them had a degree or finished school, one was a hairdresser, one was an accountants assistant.

The whole mortgage was paid off before they were 30...

They say it had broken windows when they bought it as though that was this terrible thing, but, I would definitely take broken windows over no home any day.
