My untouched games came from bundles where I only wanted one or 2 of the games. So it's not really an impulse buy, but a cost effective buy.

I'm feeling very attacked right now and I don't appreciate it....

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but when you paid $7 during Thursday Madness or whatever for BL2 and then put 700+ hours into it... that's a good impulse buy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But it doesn't take up half the entryway, Karen!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never heard of mocking women for impulse buying. I have heard of mocking them for buying impractical things.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Half?! Oh you poor summer child...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Shut up, I intend to play them all. Eventually.

8 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

I started doing that this year and its starting to feel like a chore.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Never understood this. I don't think I've ever spent money on a game that I haven't at least played for a handful of hours.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let's be real. Most of them come from those damn humble bundles. Buy 15 games so you can get one or two that you actually want.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm reasonably sure I have over a hundred games on Steam and I don't even play games terribly often. Haven't opened Steam in weeks.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I will let you know I will play Secrect of the Nagic Crystal some day

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ooh a humble bundle! *buy*

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That is what most of my female friends impulse buy. Steam games.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've prioritized games in my library to queues to burn through some every now and then... I still don't touch them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Half my Steam library still costs less than a pair of shoes.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Amen brother!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

101 games owned. 3 is played most of the time

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

106 including F2P I only tried out for less than an hour. I think I only have two unplayed. Witcher 3 and Grow Home.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

374 owned, most played games is a F2P game (PoE)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And I thought I was bad. 66 games. Only played Warhammer Total War

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just discovered Steam. I feel like I've been missing out. Bought Doom II just for nostalgia, trying to figure out the controls lol

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same, but with Grim Fandango and Monkey Island 4

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

HumbleBundle has ruined my clean steam library.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh look I just got a notification from steam that a game on my wish list is on sale!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm a woman who games on Steam so I do both T_T

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only half? well shit

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

WTF is a "steam library"???

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 12

Place to hold an exuberant amount of games on your computer

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

it's a mix between a regular library and a sauna

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Did you just wake up from a 15 year coma?

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I think the same when people have never heard of Kendrick Lamar. Not 15 years though

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's where we keep all the books about water vapor.

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Steam is the leading digital video game distribution platform.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Try being a woman and having both these problems :( im broke af and havent touched half my library yet

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Try touching your libraby to make money

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

preach sister!! I have unplayed digital and physical games.....I swear I'll get to them eventually!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Go through humble bundle to get the best sales, if you thought steam sales were ridiculous you thought wrong

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My problem ia I buy stuff I want to play some time. But I‘m also a completionist that that doesn‘t switch games until I mastered them fully.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And I like to play games that are super hard and punishing: Darkest Dungeon, Enter the Gungeon, Dark Souls, FTL, Super Meat Boy to name some

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Idk.. spend 50 bucks on like 20 games vs 300+ on some shoes or something. I think steam wins and I still get beer

8 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 17

Well if she/he can afford it and wears them regularly it is sure a win for that person. What you considrr to br good/bad expenses depends 1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2 a lot on the person and their hobbies and priorities.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ain't nobody got time for $300 shoes. That's not a splurge, that's a dedicated purchase. $10 dresses and sweaters? I am here for.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

As a fetishist a women spending money in high heels is a blessing for me

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

And then you have me

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Impulse buying 300$ with of shoes isn't something I'd consider a sale.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Depends on the shoes! Could very well be on sale.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That’s maybe 2-4 pair, 300 on games is a lot more

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Most of my library is from bundles that included a couple of games I wanted and a dozen I didn't but it was cheaper to buy the bundle.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I buy games on sale knowing full well that my computer cant handle them. One day this ignorance will pay off when I get a new pc

8 years ago | Likes 530 Dislikes 2

It's been like 3months since I started playing a game. Bought another 4 in the meantime. The first one will last me for another month

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's actually a bad plan though, because by the time you buy them on PC, they'll be available for either cheaper or remastered or somethin

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

That is how I treated my PS4 library before I got the system. I had about 150 games when I got it. Now finished 27, and own around 300. -_-

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You know how you can create categories in your steam library? I have a nice "VR" category. I don't have any VR headset nor a good enough pc.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can't relate, have over 560 games and a PC that can run them, can't bring myself to play most of them for some reason.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did this - bought a pc - still buying games faster than I play them, but now also spending money on pc improvements too

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

new graphics cards just came out for GeForce. might decrease the price of older GPU's

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i did that a few years back, then i got a raise and got my pc... i still haven't played them all, lol.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought so too, but I've actually never played any of these games after upgrading my rig. That's been 2 years ago...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That didn't stop me. I played most of Rise of the Tomb Raider at 14FPS.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy crap, I have been the same. I finally got an nVidia 1060 a month ago. Figured it'd make a bit of difference. Everything is 60fps 1080p

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My biggest issue is hard drive space and time to download the 30+gig games I bought... I had no idea a GPU would take me from meh to wow.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did the same thing. Just bought a nice gaming PC recently. I still just play aoe2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought Wolfenstein New Order before I had a PC which could handle it at the time

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My husband built a gaming pc just to be able to play steam games!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oooh man i feel you, half of my games run at like 30 fps on lowest graphics

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How is it "ignorance" if you know full well?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I pretty much can't run anything past 2013 so I play old games.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same here 368 games (with well over another 100 unclaimed on humble bundle) currently - getting new PC later this month

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

I'm at 3004 games on humblebundle as of now. There's way too many

If you want to count yours, open the library in your account and once, loaded, type this into the browser console (F12):

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

$$(".subproduct-selector").length

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's why I bought Arkham Knight. Wasn't as totally shit a port as I expected.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's because they took it down and fixed it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They did a good job then because I actually ended up enjoying it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I gotta finish that game..bought with a shit GPU now I have a 1080. So much to redownload..
