9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

The dude side by side is pretty similar though

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, I'm a woman who studies Business and Engineering. Meh, seems about right.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Must not have gone to RPI

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In engineering school, have seen far more of the former than the latter.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Architecture school was not as brutal, but still the business chicks took way more care of themselves, which matters a lot.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Well sign me the fuck up for engineering.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I wish I had women who looked like this in my engineering school.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Actually I wish I had women in my engineering school.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

maybe they were crossdressing? wouldnt be a bad idea, honestly.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The engineering girls at my tech school are hot af

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

False. There were tons of gorgeous girls in my engineering school.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

What girls...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 0

Yes!! I remember this!!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a business student that works at a business with business student graduates I can confirm.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Hayden Panettiere is in the business of making me hard.

Both are good.

9 years ago | Likes 130 Dislikes 6

Yeah, I don't think so

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm a computer science major and this isn't even true don't know where you're in school but engineering girls are just as attractive

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Also bullshit like this is why girls don't end up going into stem fields

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Horseshit

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Ok

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You have girls in your engineering classes? Lucky.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

because in business brains don't matter only looks.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 15

Well that would make but then there's trump. He's always been hideous

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

money beats brains and looks

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Yeah

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

These comments have proven to me that imgur is full of retards.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

walking from one side of campus (literature/education) to other side (physical science/math) the women got uglier and the sun shined less

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Who's the girl on the right?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah, Sylvana Stallone

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Samantha Stallone.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why in the world would you let a silly joke stop you from studying what you love?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Don't matter. I'd marry the one on the right if I get to be a stay-at-home dad

9 years ago | Likes 91 Dislikes 4

I tried that, didn't work out that well.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You'd always shoot first if you did

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's this kind of bullshit that makes little girls think they shouldn't grow up to be engineers. -1 Asshat.

9 years ago | Likes 252 Dislikes 62

I think they call it a joke, but I'm not too sure.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

Yeah, because male engineers are never ever made fun of, right?

Brought your comment from a -1 to a 0. I AM YOUR SAVIOOOOR

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

So don't be sorry, there are various other factors than a meme to let anyone to influence their choice

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well you don't deserve the flak you got , been in engineering and architecture schools

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Yeah, cut this shit out. I want some sexy coworkers!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

No one ever complains about women dominating nursing.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 21

Girls don't want to do advance mathematics because of a joke someone made on the Internet? What weak passion.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 11

If it's socially acceptable and common to joke about one gender being less suited to a certain field or career than the other, it's obvious

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

that's indicative of (and contributes to) a culture where that gender will be discouraged and less likely to pursue that route. It's not a

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"not being able to take one joke" thing necessarily.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure most people on earth don't want to do advanced mathemathics because, well, advanced mathemathics.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hey fuck you I like advanced mathematics. Probably why I went in to STEM...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey, I'm a software developer. Though I recognise that advanced math really isn't for most people. It requires a very specific mindset.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Future me you should take a look, hugs

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fuck. That made me angry. If I succeed in psychology, I'll make damn sure that doesn't happen on my watch.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

An email confessing feelings =/= sexual harassment. Have a feeling the article's author (who sells books related to the subject on the side)

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 7

2) is infinitely more creeped out than the women who actually received the letters. STEM gals are not theoretical bashful librarians,

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I guess you also didn't finish the article, "The last time she talked to me, she told me that she was thinking of quitting."

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

3) they're intelligent women who will shut bullshit down if they don't have time for it.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

...but the author is a "stem gal" who has designed and headed labs that study biogeochemistry. She's won numerous awards in her field, 1/

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

including what's considered to be the highest honor for "young scientists in the field of Geological and Planetary Sciences." She's 2/

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

the credentials of the author simply because you don't want her to be right. 4/4

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

immensly accomplished in her scientific field and also happens to speak out against a pattern of bias she's recognized. You can't dismiss 3/

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I wish I had women who looked like this in my business school.

9 years ago | Likes 450 Dislikes 8

She looked a lot better with her own set of boobs, waste of a good women.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Msu is crazy so many hot girls in all classes

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

In the worn business school

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Transfer to Arizona State University. They all look like that.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I am sorry your school lacks in eastern European accounting majors. The Lithuanian girls are quite friendly.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not up-voting to keep points at 69

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, lol, I study business and look like Jackie Stallone.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This is what most of the marketing girls at my uni look like.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Yeah our marketing school has a lot of beautiful women too. Are you Australian by any chance?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yup. So everyone does the same business degree, but with different majors, so you get a bit of crossover.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Moving from marketing and management to economics and finance is the secret to not seeing pretty girls ever again.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Did marketing can vouch. But marketing has nothing on arts girls

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They're in marketing, pretty girls tend to flock away from anything involving numbers like accounting or finance.

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 11

I seen women in finance look like this..some in accounting highly depends on school imo

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

In my experience, they normally drop finance or accounting after first year and switch to marketing or event management.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

I do pharmacy its 60:40 women to men and we are required to have math skills.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Definitely a factor in income disparity between genders in the industry.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Got to admit that's not the whole story, there are still women who get less career opportunity than male counterparts of equal merit.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

But it definitely is a factor.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

O wish I had women who looked like that in my engineering college

9 years ago | Likes 142 Dislikes 0

My college consists of an engineering , business and arts college fused together, and the arts helps significantly balance the gender ratio.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I went to an engineering school with 86% male enrollment. We called it "Wentworth goggles" instead of beer goggles. They all look good 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

after long enough. The only saving grace was we had an architect program with some decent looking chicks. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I went there for a year. There were only 2 girls among the freshman mechanical engineering majors.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There were only 3 girls in the entire Construction Management program and 2 of them could beat me up.
