News from Europe...it has something to do with America...

Title: This is a frightening day for America

The top headline in our news today was that the US president has instructed his attorney general to indict former FBI director Comey...and she is doing so.

Trump fired Comey as FBI director in 2017 because the president was upset about the FBI's investigation into contacts between his campaign team and Russians in 2016. Since then, Trump has demanded countless times that Comey be brought to justice. He did so most recently a few days ago on his online mouthpiece Truth Social with a post addressed to Attorney General Pamela Bondi. She is the country's top prosecutor.

Ty Cobb previously worked for Trump in the White House. Speaking to CNN about the Comey indictment, he said: "For the first time in history, a president has ordered his attorney general to indict his enemies. And instead of acting independently, as she should, she said, 'Yes, sir. How quickly can I do that for you?

Cobb said this was a tragic day for America: “Either this is the end of the rule of law in America—or it will become a tipping point against these authoritarian activities.” The process was unprecedented. “Every law student is taught that something like this is impossible: namely, that the executive branch tells prosecutors who they should or should not prosecute.”

At some point, we're going to need to charge people like Pam Bondi with suppression of civil rights under color of law.

I hope Comey hires an attorney named Epstein just for giggles.

So this is this week’s Trump Cliffhanger.

I wonder what they’re trying to distract us from?

Everyday is frightening. This isn't new.

Exactly. The Rule of Law ended at least when the Supreme Court said the president is a king in all but name.

I know it's in German, but still, never post a news article without the source: https://www.tagesschau.de/ausland/amerika/ex-fbi-chef-comey-anklage-100.html

I have improved it. Greetings from over the pond.

If he showed up to trial, pulled out a copy of epsteins client list and started reading it. I'd probably bust a nut.

You know this coward doesn't have the balls to do the right thing.

A tipping point or a... Turning Point?

Charlie Cuck is a dead fuck.

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah. I was trying to be funny, perhaps even witty that they're using every piece of him. Never mind.

10 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah? Wait, while you're at it, Pam, there's more to attend to: The 'Ol Epstein Files and, just in now, The Homan Files. Hot Stuff, baby. Just the way you like 'em.

What’s funny is she has zero experience as a prosecutor and already made an error with submitting court documents. I don’t think she’s going to win this case against a lawyer that actually has years of experience in that field. At the same time, screw Comey for throwing Hillary under the bus and not coming forward with information about Trump working with Russia to rig elections

Seriously. Without Comey in 2016, there is a high probability that Hillary would have won and the timeline wouldn't be quite as shit.

Then again, that would have put us more fully on the Year Zero timeline... I wish The Presence would come get involved.

I was wondering when Trump would start “rewarding” the people who appeased him into office.

Do Garland next.

Now that's what I call a distraction from the Epstein files.

Philes. Epstein Philes.

And what I call projection from them... so much for the dems "weaponizing" the justice system...

Comey DEMANDED a trial. This is going to be good. Something to look forward to.

10 months ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 2

Considering US law and order is a fucking dog and pony show, are you sure about that?

10 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because he can bring forward all of his evidence and the prosecutors have to bring forward all of theirs. Comey's evidence is all DAMNING AS FUCK against Trump.

10 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I don't know much about the FBI and its leadership, but the point here is the process whereby a president instructs an attorney general to bring charges against a specific person.

Fbi was founded by ej hoover who was notorious for keeping "tabs" (files of illegal behaviour if you are dense as i was back in my DoD days), so he being the head was privy to everything, no way he doesnt come out on top and drags half the republican and Democrat parties with him

the real point is that the court proceedings are going to be embarrassing for trump's DOJ and hopefully pam bondi will be fucking fired over this :D

we all knew trump wanted revenge against political opponents. comey, clintons, his old lawyer michael cohen...the list goes on and on. trump may control the DOJ which is unheard of in american politics but its been 10 years of unheard of with trump so at this point we're all expecting it.

it is a dark day but im holding out hope for lower courts

Embarrassing hardly matters. The man's entire life has been a gigantic embarrassment and enough people who matter have eaten his shit and asked for seconds anyway. We can all be outraged at how much of an embarrassment this is, while the establishment does nothing to curb it.

The only reason Bondi would be fired is if she fails to jail the man, and we all know it.

The only name on the charging document is the partisan hack tax lawyer who was sworn in as a federal prosecutor last week and has never tried a criminal case. No assistants would touch it.

The former ms. Colorado?

And the previous District Prosecutor resigned rather than attempt to file charges.
