No more fucking cameras. It's worth letting people get away with some crimes to not live in a fucking police state. I can't believe this even needs to be said.

Cars requiring video monitoring of your driving with ai detecting any movements your body and eyes make. Reports and gives warnings if you look off the road for any reason, even if at lights or glancing at GPS. Nobody can or will confirm who has access to this data and biometrics. US passed something similar rolling out in 2028 or something? I forgot. It's just more monitoring and biometric training for ai and palantir police state at best, and could be used for much worse in bad hands.
Data shall be processed in the car only, and biometrics may not even be recorded. And believe me, car manuifacturers are calculating very closely the amount of data that's transferred between the vehicle and the backend - because that's costing them money.
Cars will shut down and not operate if it is taped too. Wonder if someone will make something you can stick to cover it and just play a repeating video to spoof like how age verification can be faked with videos
Where did you get this from? Given that these cameras are in cars already on the road, someone would at the very least have posted a rage video. In practice, the camera only needs to detect being covered permanently and then show up an indication (and likely make an entry in the error log).

Having a (self installed) driver facing camera in the US is a good idea though, so when the cops shoot you in your car, there's video evidence.

According to https://www.zdfheute.de/ratgeber/auto-kamera-eu-ueberwachung-faktencheck-100.html, permanently covering it up must trigger an error indication on the dash - and will get you into trouble on the regular technical check-up (TÃœV in Germany).

Your source? Mine https://www.zdfheute.de/ratgeber/auto-kamera-eu-ueberwachung-faktencheck-100.html says the alert has to be triggered at 20..50 kph after 6 seconds, over 50 kph after 3.5 seconds, no info for <20 kph.
