I know I have seen many variations of the same commercial in the 90's alone.

This and a 400 pound projection television meant you were super rich

I miss those International Coffees. They were like koolaid but with caffeine.

Three of the ones shown there are still around. I like Suiss Mocha best. It's like caffeinated hot chocolate.

He's really made it in this life. Telephone the size of a fucking air jordan blasting radiation into his skull at 33 and a 3rd Megahertz.

Nescafe....GOLD blend. It even had Anthony Stewart Head with his British accent in the commercial.

Interestingly, although now a relatively cheap brand of cat food Fancy Feast’s classic pate line is actually recommended for diabetic cats as it is even lower carb than the prescription diet.

Perrier tastes like licking the bottom of an airport hand rail.

Club soda tastes like old tv static.

La Croix tastes like a picture of a fruit.

Rockstar energy tastes like expired dime-tap.

I ate all the Frozen Glädge. And I'd do it again.

6 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I believe it was Frusen, not Frozen. But I CAN'T believe that you remember that ad campaign. Core memory unlocked.

Me too

The added bonus was using the empty containers as drinking cups. Fancy

I never had a Viennetta — are they still around??

5 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Still present in Italy. Sold by Algida, they never ended selling it.

5 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I think in Europe but not in the U.S.

Velveeta was the height of cheese, or so little me thought

I had never had a Symphony bar (or ever realky even heard of one) until like two years ago. It's quite nice as far as Hershey's goes.

5 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

yeah, compared to their standard chocolate bar it's worlds better.

I still love Grey Poupon.

I honestly hate mustard unless it's used in another sauce

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I had a grey hamster that would poop on anything new so my dad called him Grey Poop On

6 days ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

How is it compared to say Heinz?

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does Heinz make a dijon? I'm sure if so that it's pretty similar. Grey Poupon is Nabisco or something, right?

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know much about mustards...I only like honey mustard and even that only now and again...

6 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Even my cat said it tasted nasty

You're gonna love it in an instant!

6 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I like that stuff and even have some, but they overplayed the commercial so much I started saying "you're gonna throw up in an instant" when it came on

5 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, no. That's Patum Perineum.

5 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They brought back Viennetta a few years ago; I felt I owed it to my young self to finally try it. It was underwhelming.

6 days ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 2

I had it in Europe some time ago. Tasted great. In North America it is shitty.

5 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I remember it tasted like ice

6 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I tried one too....to me, it tasted like they replaced the ice cream layers with Cool Whip. I was not a fan.

6 days ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

It is very very low grade icecream

5 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They sell those big loaves for 1 euro once every while here at Lidl. For that price it was...okay.

6 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yeah 1€ is pretty standard price for it. Has been forever like that. For some reason it used to be always on sale here in Finland.

5 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sold by ALGIDA in Italy (translation: pretty little Vienna). I am 40 and I have always seen it sold in supermarkets. They only adapted the packaging with modern design and logos. It is a "I am too bored to make dessert or to broke to spend for cakes in a pasticceria"; or a snack with friends watching summer soccer World Cup... Tastes "good" for an industrial cake (like Italian industrial ice cream...they're "good"...).

5 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It always was. Looked so incredible on the ads, but it was always a bit bashed about when you opened it and tasted of very little.

6 days ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

noooooooooo!!!!

6 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I understand that you're speaking words but they make no sense. Vienetta, UNDERwhelming?!?! If anything I was OVERwhelmed. I was whelmed and a half. It sounds like I'm being hyperbolic but honestly I'm playing it down. That shit was MY JAM.

I always like it too, surprised by the consensus

5 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I’ve never had it and don’t think I’ve ever heard of it? I am of this era. I had to zoom in to even see what the v-cake was. Hmmm.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It was not long lived in the U.S. I don't believe.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yes. Because it insists upon itself.

6 days ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

I thought the same thing the first time I tried fancy feast.

6 days ago | Likes 143 Dislikes 0

Give me a break, give me a break! Break me off a piece of that Fancy Feast!

5 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's because you didn't put any Grey Poupon on it
