tbh making such a sign is a 5 mins click job and then let a printing house print the kingsize banner maybe an hour or two (already included all human interactions, prices and payments, delivering the final product... etc.). its not even something that takes effort to make, like a colored ad with alignments, design choices etc. its literally just black font on white canvas. cheap and fast made. anyone can have it within a day.

However, whether they meant to be- or not- they r martyrs. Jesus figures if u need an example from history. People killed for a cause. People killed by a big evil power. Their deaths r part of how we mark how far we have fallen. We also don’t want them to have died for no reason, this acknowledgement gives their deaths more meaning.

Technically it would make us a police state susceptible to wartime resignations. Suspended elections, suspended civil rights (this includes habeus corpus for EVERYONE), an enacted curfew… I could go on, but a lot of minor logistics would basically transfer to the military and the commander in chief.
I don’t know the process of actually enacting it, I would assume it’s a congressional thing… but we have all seen how much Trump cares about what congress does.
