I have some stuff to redo, and a map and gun prop to finish, but I wanted to squeeze it in for a convention.
A small taste of the (grueling) process. This was my first time attempting from-scratch patterning, shoe work, and wig building.

If you can manage it, the character reference appears to have more red in her face than your makeup does, so maybe try working more in. She’s got this kind of fawn red look to her.

I was under the impression that that is how he's portrayed in the book. Maybe the movie does a better job of portraying him as a sympathetic character, at times, but the theme of a role model and parental figure for Jim was always there.
