I don’t believe he can be said to have made a “corrupt turn” when he was already speeding at twice the limit down Corruption Boulevard.
WeirdandOdd
He is probably going to ask the people who file a complaint, to first donate a certain percent of what they might get to his political funds.
nominalaeon
YEAH NO SHIT WE KNOW NOW WHAT!?!?
yeahhedugit
#1 It's obvious to some of us, but it's Justice to the fox idiots. No wonder he loves the poorly educated.
bourbonandbaddecisions
So theoretically the cops injured in j6 can sue them in civil court for damages now right?
Vidikron
He's not long for this world. I'd be surprised if he makes it to the midterms.
southflhitnrun
He is creating a private army fund with tax dollars from working class people, you know because he cut taxes for the wealthy. An army to keep him in power, paid for by us.
I'm old enough to remember when we paid for a wall that Mexico was gonna pay for.
J3lek
He is paying for services rendered so that the same people will be willing to do it again next time he is supposed to leave the Whitehouse.
leechdemon
Honestly, this is the only comment that gives me pause. I agree with you, except...
...paying his debts isn't exactly something Trump is known to do. 🤔 Why start now??
RatsLiveOnNoEvilStar
He isn’t going to pay them anything by. It’s there as a carrot they hope he hands out and it will all end up in his pocket
LitigiousWhelk
"TAKES a corrupt turn"? This man tooks his first corrupt turn in his mothers fucking womb. Give me a break.
universeHacker
Yeah, that isn't going to be 2028, but 2026.

they're ready

It'll be both.

Lesson learned: If there is a next time, we'll just shoot them.

If you don't punish a coup
it will happen again.
Without consequences,
it was just a dry run
MioTaalas
They will... This time they'll be armed.
Do you know where your guns are? Ate you practicing? Are you organizing?
Are you getting ready?
Army will not help you, national guard will not help you, police will not help you...
They're all full of sycophants already...
RevolutionOnHerLips
It's illegal to say someone should molotov the president.
timGiraffeBeast
I don't see anything wrong with that
7qd26tttv7
Only for USA citizens.
As a Canadian I wholeheartedly believe someone, anyone, should absolutely mazel tov President Trump.
huey9k
They're just trying to make sure he'll be warm for the rest of his life. What's the problem? I'm just asking questions here...
YouRadicalizedMe
Off with his fucking head!

"the pen is mightier than the sword, losers" "we have all the swords, too" /s /s augh
LaughAtMemeInjectReason
If you're going to post something about the Cheeto-In-Chief, do us a favor and crop out that invisible diet coke sucking face. It's bad enough that the publication is intentionally choosing these unflattering pictures, but we don't need to give his face any more air time. We all know who we're dealing with by now.
psmith00
said it before and i'll say it again, America as we knew it is boned. there is nothing left. America elected a multiple times convicted felon and the result is a Criminal syndicate taking over the whole country.
DukeDarkwood
True. There is no "going back to the way it was". Even if we somehow beat ALL the odds and come through this debacle with the nation intact, it won't be the same. The scar is going to be there, to remind us. And whatever we make afterward will have to have changes in it.
And then the other possibilities go downhill from there. But the ONE THING, the one thing that is not possible, is a return to "before".
There never is. Covid. 9-11. Pearl Harbor. The list goes on. You don't undo some changes.

Correct: anyone not stopped from doing a coup will continue until they succeed. The Trump Ballroom. /gallery/you-still-dont-get-why-trump-is-always-boasting-about-his-ballroom-lately-estimated-completion-october-2028-just-weeks-before-his-now-announced-3d-term-iXQ5yzg
Originally scheduled to be finished 12 weeks before the 2028 election. People- he keeps talking about it because he doesn't intend to leave office; it's a throne room/bunker.
Dementedcucumber
It's mind blowing how there is blatant curroption coming from the President and politicians in America and they get away with it.
TheWombatStrikesAgain
It's almost as if no one there watched all those documentaries on the 1920s and 30s and only skipped to the "Murica wins the war!" part.
RichardPenne
I think he'll use them this November. And, making victims pay their abusers is some sick shit.
TheWombatStrikesAgain
Fitting for the party of thiefs and rapists.
Toqom
It's what a pedophile abuser president would do
TheBurpyPony
He's probably going to do it in January 2027 when trying to intimidate congress because of all those D's coming into the house.
inkpod
Only if Democrats vote.
lastmanonearthbutidroppedmyglasses
That would require a level of planning I don’t think he’s capable of.
DodyShiratori
My hot take: he doesn't need to.
He's got goons that do the planning for him and I wouldn't be surprised if something like that does happen
RobertAG25772
The guy isn’t playing 4-dimensional chess; he is that stupid. But brace for new insurrections and election challenges this year & in 2028. Until MAGA (not just DJT personally) is overwhelmingly discredited & defeated, expect more “sore loser” events from them.
guyanesebro420
He isn't pulling the strings unfortunately
Daliena06
Yeah. Every time you get "Dump's not that smart". He's not. But it's not like he doesn't have a horde of people jockeying to be his evil vizier, some of whom are actually intelligent. Vile bastards, but intelligent - or at least certainly smarter than Dump, not that that's a high bar.
yeahhedugit
He's got the tech Bros, their money and their AI doing that for him.

Trump isn't as dumb as he makes himself out to be. All his absurd lies has a strategy to it. He spews out 20 lies a minute - but all he needs is for one lie to be even remotely plausible to his base. That base will then share Trump's lie and it'll keep spreading, drowning out any truth from all the noise. And while we're busy trying to straighten out the facts, Trump can do as he pleases.
"Flood the zone with crap" is a real strategy
RobertAG25772
In some ways he’s smarter than he looks, but in other ways he’s less smart than he looks. Overestimating him is as dangerous as underestimating him. Many times there’s a strategy, but many times he’s simply winging it without a clue. The thing is, his strategy is different than it is for most politicians, but we’ve figured it out and know now how to defeat it.
mindstorm8191
Yeah, true. I think his incompetence comes from the fact that he refuses to use any experts, and usually does the opposite of what any experts tell him
RobertAG25772
He reminds me of Isaac Asimov’s essay on the Roman general Pompey and his reversal of luck after conquering Judea. Once you let your luck get to your head, it runs out really fast.
