If mom came home from a hard day's work and did this for you, you had an awesome mom.

Are you calling your mom a liar?

Looks better than the shit at actual McD's these days

this is why The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) banned "Joe Cool". fast food restaurants marketing to children is the same thing.

So long as your fridge is not packed full of rotting vegetables and fruit, gets an occasional wipedown with soap and vinegar, there is nothing wrong with clean, home-made fries crisped in peanut oil.
If we had that at home, I would not have become so addicted to fast food in my adolescent years.
It has taken a long time to drop that dependancy and grow to love home-made meals prepared caringly out of a clean kitchen and fridge, using your own hands to maintain the house and make good decisions.

I wouldn't mock that. It tasted good, it was fresh, it took effort, everyone sat around and talked while things cooked.

When I use sliced bread as a burger bun ill toast it on the lightest setting. Keeps it from getting soggy.

Honestly that looks pretty good

Done this, toast the bread, light coating of mayo, cheese must be melted last minute of burger cooking (also season burger with what you got), fries in air fryer/oven must come out a minute or so before burger done so they can cool a bit. Add desired ketchup, mustard, pickles, a little ground black pepper does add at the end. Stack everything the way you want, add fries, enjoy. I've made great food for no monies. We've been there and we all have to eat, might as well get a bit creative.

Easily better than the nasty shit McDonald's tries to pass off as food these days.

Crinkle cuts and two burgers! Hell yeah

I can forgive a lot of things, but using regular sliced bread instead of a proper bun is not one of them.

Sounds more like you’re a snowflake that can’t handle people enjoying simple pleasures.

Go sit on a broom handle, maybe it will dislodge the tree up your ass.

What a wild response to someone’s opinion what the fuck dude

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Idk, saying it’s unforgivable to make an acceptable substitution seems like an even worse thing to say.

That’s not an opinion at that point.

First mom's, then McDonald's?

Your terms are acceptable.

Absolutely not universally true. I picked up cooking all the family meals by age 11 because this was absolutely not true of my childhood, aha.
