I feel like strong is an understatement

Where do you find a magnet like that?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

kjmagnetics.com. You can get everything from pinheads to blocks with literally a half-ton of pull, in all sorts of shapes.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nailed it!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You could use that magnet as a nail gun! Damn, surprised he didn't stab himself.

And although I know it's strictly taboo....

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you wrap the magnet in cloth it is easier to separate the sharp rusty things from the magnet.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That could have become an interesting thumbnail...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wow that's mag-neat-o

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I didn't realize this was an urgent problem that needed solving.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This magnet is like Keanu’s delicious inverted penis in the matrix films: Neo D inny, Yum.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

There is a lot of tetanus to be had in there.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Tetanus is nearly ubiquitous in the environment. It's the type of wound that leads to an infection, not the type of object.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But then I had to get a tetanus shot when a parakeet bit me at work also.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The important point is the second one. Tetanus bacteria are anaerobic so they need a wound that isn't open to the air to cause infection.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wish he wore gloves

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Cool! Now do a barrel roll!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Now have fun pulling them off.

Nails of the Coffin Removed to summon the ones who swore to serve until atomised.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And now you use a stronger magnet to get the nails off of the magnet.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tip for your tip: wrap the magnet in canvas so you can just bundle that shit and throw it away(and protect your hand a bit ffs).

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

And put the magnet in a plastic bag before that, or you will never get those fucking iron filings off it as long as you live.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Rookie mistake, next time wrap the magnet in a cloth or put it in a sock

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All fun and games until one goes through your hand

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

magnets how the fuck do they work?

Thank you finally someone is saying it!!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

You want Tetanus. That is how you get Tetanus.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Not sure about Good ol Lockjaw, but seeing it didn't hurt them enough to drop it, they're fine.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don’t think it’s possible to get impaled by this.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 7

Still not exactly a pleasant experience to get a nail run pointy-bit first into your delicate, sweet little fingers

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you dont understand magnetism

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

Put it in a box pipe with an escape. Makes taking off the nails and shit easy

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Apparently only millennials have common sense.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

My baby boomer parents would say this is a bad idea as well. Perhaps this person just wants to avoid having to get a tetanus shot.

8 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 1

Right a friend of mine just moved into his house new construction I walked out into his garage...well I attempted..the ran right back in...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Because I could almost hear my dad screaming at me to put shoes on bc of nails in the garage 10years after moving out 3000 miles away

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

GIVE ME TETANUS

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That magnet should've been attached to a broomstick or something.

8 years ago | Likes 73 Dislikes 3

That might throw your mom off balance though.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Then you'd just collect a bunch of bedknobs.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

That was a great post, why am i the first to upvote?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But why are there nails in a fire pit?

8 years ago | Likes 450 Dislikes 10

because people are assholes

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

take a guess

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because the wood was soaked in nails.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Burning damaged furniture, shipping pallets, old window frames, etc...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Someone was burning what is likely chemically treated construction lumber or pallets. Not the best idea in the world.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Lazy people that didn't clean the scraps before burning. Supposed to hammer the nails out first.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

he burned wood with nails in it

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

BBQ can't melt steel nails

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

The real question is, who put it in the can of tuna?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More like why is there fire in my nail pit?

8 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

You get my upvote for the day

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also mine. Take it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fire melts steel nails.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because nails burn hotter than wood and last longer.

8 years ago | Likes 113 Dislikes 0

Pfff prob’ly gotta use jet fuel to get those those steel nails going. No thanks.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Class D bonfire FTW

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thats why you soak them in wood first

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

That was a terrible dad joke

I was being sarcastic but cool. You can probably tell from my comment history I am an avid supporter of individual thought

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I suppose not

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Why would they?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

When carbon gets warm enough, it can fuse into heavier elements such as iron.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

the iron has to be hot enough to bound with it camp fires don't get that hot.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i meant bond

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, like, inside a star.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That was the joke, yeah.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I totally knew that was a joke. I was, uh, playing along.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Old pallets and skids make decent and cheap firewood. No point pulling the nails out first.

8 years ago | Likes 371 Dislikes 3

Bad idea most pallets like that are pressure treated with mercury.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 17

What he said, dumbass! Figure it out

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually, lots of points.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As someone who has previously burned like 200 pallets in a giant oceanside bonfire -why not? they weren't painted, the treating solution?

8 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

My old stopping grounds. Cops made me throw away all my pallets once. somthing about not allowed to burn "construction materials".

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Pallets arent used to build anything tho

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

After being threatened with a ticket I wasn't willing to argue that point.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pallets are generally fine to burn. Some have been treated with a chemical that is a known carcinogen though.

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

If they are not painted or stained they usually look like this in terms of color. They can also be dirty.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Just make sure you don't like the people downwind and you're good to go
