It's genuinely hard. While the truth can be sad, don't blame photographers for the laws of physics.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but a better way to phrase it would be something like “she’s skinnier than I usually like…” which puts it on your preference and not that there is something wrong with her.
Or it’s totally free not to comment on women’s bodies at all.
