Metrinch or flank wrench. They bite into the flats and not dependent on the corners.

Or find the sae/metric socket that fits too tight and hammer it on there and then twist

Then the list gets worse.

Just cutting some weight off of the bolt so it can turn faster.

On brakes, always use shallow 6 pt sockets. But, like, that's just my opinion....

A box wrench works as well, OP's photo has the smell of an open ended wrench or maybe an adjustable nut rounder.
