You can't make this stuff up

Aug 19, 2026 4:49 AM

Never mind the Trump just voted by mail, but he claims that voting by mail is "inherently corrupt". Seriously, you can't make this shit up.

@OP again, it's a fucking dictatorship, why are any of you surprised? a reporter could bring this to him directly, and his response will be "it's only ok when I do it"

Rules for thee, not for me.
Rights for me, not for thee.

You could easily make this shit up. This isn't even a terribly staggering example of hypocrisy, it's just par for the course when dealing with this kind of reactionary fascist. Now, the president of the world's largest economic and military power starting an unwinnable war to distract from his connections to a global sex trafficking ring, that's at least closer to "truth is stranger than fiction."

The interesting thing about mail in votes is that Trump is a pedophile.

They don't care that the "rules for thee, privilges for me" is plainly obvious. They want it to be plainly obvious, because that's how they hope to convince their own voters that they'll get privileges that others don't get.

"Inherently corrupt"... yes... that's what he is.

T****: "If I'm involved, it's corrupt. Thus mail-in voting is inherently corrupt."

This is literally the same shit he's been doing the entire time. Why are you acting surprised? https://www.npr.org/2020/08/19/903886567/trump-while-attacking-mail-voting-casts-ma">ot-again">https://www.npr.org/2020/08/19/903886567/trump-while-attacking-mail-voting-casts-mail-ballot-again https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/mar/11/donald-trump-mail-in-ballot-palm-beach-county

Hey, it gets better, he mail in votes with that shit stain Florida golf course as his primary residence. A building that was specifically marked as "can't be used as a primary residence" when granted building permission.

Wait, I thought he voted in NY because, as a convicted felon, he wasn't *allowed* to vote in Flordia?

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you don't need to make it up - conservatives are lying hypocrites - that's why they're conservatives. That's an insult yes, but also factual

1 week ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

With the caveat that if you are not extremely wealthy AND vote conservative, it's possible that you are a lying hypocrite. You can just be a sociopathic idiot.

There are only two types of Republicans. The ultra wealthy and morons. Check your bank account to see which one you are.

For all the theatre and stunts he performs to create the many illusions he does; he still can't be bothered to actually walk into a polling place and cast a vote like a normal person.

He'll stuff himself into a catering truck, knowingly let people try to shoot at him, but to walk into a public building and get in line is just too far.

Voting in person would require him interacting with some insignificant peons who lacks the resources to hook him up with things.

I live in Florida. We have mail-in voting here and Republicans have a death grip on the state. If mail-in voting was as he would say, Florida would ban it. But they haven’t. Because there is no problem with mail-in voting. So Republicans in power in Florida keep it in place because it benefits them. If it benefitted Democrats, it would be gone.

This is a smokescreen to call the election stolen when he loses. Again.

"It's only bad when other people do it," is a nice summation of the entire Republican platform.

Of course it's "inherently corrupt". Everything he does is inherently corrupt. /s.

The most corrupt guy on the planet voting by mail sort of proves his point...

It boggles me how many people can not see how stupid and dishonest 47 is.

For Republicans and conservatives, hypocrisy is a feature, not a bug.

Everything this man says, thinks, or does is pure shit. He never should have been nominated. I abhor him with the fury of a thousand blue-hot suns. I wish he would just die already.

I thought felons couldn’t vote

1 week ago | Likes 283 Dislikes 1

I believe that all people, even those currently serving jail/prison sentences should be able to vote. No one has ever not committed a crime because theyd lose their vote. Therefore it's a purely punitive measure, which has historically been used to disenfranchise POC & those against the admin in power. https://media1.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1OTEydXRsd3JuMzNkc3lsNDdzZHptOWgwNm02ajN0NjBseTl2bzFuMCZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/q7ldcXXbG0PcuNkj7n/200w.webp

POTUS is above the law apparently

1 week ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Keep it 100, everyone should have the right to vote. Although it's annoying in this instance, fascists use prison populations to gerrymander districts knowing those populations won't vote in elections. The Republicans use those laws to elect more fascists.

Depends on the state. Florida (where Trump claims residency) does not disenfranchise felons if they would not be disenfranchised in the state where the conviction took place. In Trump's case, his felony convictions came in NY, which restores voting rights on release from prison. More, in Florida, the governor can step in and store voting rights on a per-case basis, which is something DeSantis said he would do for his Orange Daddy, despite it being completely unnecessary.

Awful nice of Meatball Ron

I was honestly surprised he could detach his mouth from Trump's balls long enough to say anything at all.

I thought FL voters modified their constitution to allow anyone not convicted of murder or a sex offense to vote—albeit with the legislature thrn throwing in catch-22s to undermine the intent of the amendment.

1 week ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

That is absolutely what happened. The Senate added some bullshit about fines, restitution, and parole needing to be finished that disenfranchised almost a million Florida voters. However, I believe that only applies to felons who received their convictions in Florida. I briefly checked the wiki to make sure I wasn't misremembering things and read that bit, but I didn't dig any further, so there is a chance I'm wrong. I don't think I am, but I could be.

"On release from prison" - Was the orange turd ever in prison, or should he not be able to vote in NY because he was never "released"?

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's actually completing their sentence. So, if he had prison time, probation, and fines, he would need to complete all of that before he could vote. He literally was convicted and not given any sort of punishment. I wish he would have gotten a fine of even $10 because he wouldn't have paid it.

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Him never receiving any sort of punishment, not even a fine, will remain one of the most bullshit things about him. I hope anyone else who ever gets hit with the same charges, and especially gets the same judge on them, as trump will argue the punishment is too harsh and refer directly to trump and his 34 counts.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If there's no sentence, has he ever actually completed it?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, he was given an unconditional discharge. Sounds like something every willing woman that Trump's been with has suffered with since has had to deal with.
