Kaylee Hottle, 18, dead after a single vehicle accident in Maryland. She played the little deaf kid in the recent Godzilla/Kong movies

Reckless 19yo driver crashes car for speeding. A good soul gone, raised by good kind parents. I read her dad has already forgiven the driver and told him to not let this accident bother him, and to move forward in life.
GuggelPlayer
She was the best human in these movies
BeachsideBarghest
Some of these jokes are in very poor taste. Not cool guys.
SometimesOthertimesAnytime
Damn. That really sucks.
bbrtki
Way too young to go like that.
Leviosoooohhhh
Aw man :(
MendoncycleSmith
Shame, but let's focus on the tens of thousands of others, young and old, dying for no good reason, in abject obscurity because their family wasn't wealthy, or they themselves, weren't made famous by some stupid fucking movie. She had her time, millions never did.
VoidScreamer
Wow, gross dude.
FlatPlutoSociety
Jesus fucking Christ, dude.

A tragic death is a tragic death. There is no weighing one against the other.

FlatPlutoSociety
She played the deaf girl who taught Kong how to sign in a few of the recent Godzilla/King Kong movies.

actress of a generation

Poor kid. Rest in peace.
laternamagicalux
Stop disrespecting the dead woman.
gandalfgandalf
How have I disrespected her?
ToenailClippingsJar
Honestly the only thing I could think of was you calling a 19-year old ‘kid’?
Which I myself am guilty of as well I might add.
Joys of being over 50. A LOT of people are ‘kidsm in my eyes..
GravyEducation
Damn. That's way too fuckin young. Did we tell Kong yet? :(

Yeah I just watched these a couple of days ago and looked her up to see if they actually cast a deaf person and the more I read I thought "I like this kid, I hope she goes far" and then this :(
bitemark
I hope she had a good life up to this point at least
GravyEducation
The first one is a really good movie. Didn't see the second but that's beside the point. Speaking of the cast, she coulda Millie Bobby Brown'd it and gone places, like you say
RobertAG25772
So ironic that she would die just after attaining adulthood. Think of all the grown-up roles she could have had!
textilelover
Is this a shitty AI response? Seems like something a clanker would say.
RobertAG25772
I was talking about the great unrealized potential that resulted from her untimely death.
OhSheeeeeet
not sure ironic is the right word here
MasterMookie
tragic is the word.
RobertAG25772
It’s ironic bc it’s not what would normally happen. It’s also tragic. Although if we’re using “tragic” in its classic sense—as in a Shakespearean play—then calamitous is a better word for fear untimely death. A “tragedy” in its original sense happens when the calamity is somehow self-inflicted—which this one is not.
RobertAG25772
“Fear” is meant to be “her”
RobertAG25772
Too bad it happened anyway.
keyblader1985
That's a damn shame. Way too young.
rolliefingers
That DOES seem young to die, now that you mention it. Thanks for calling attention to that.
SuicidalThrillbillyturnedLunaticChillbilly
Just a little dash of salt.

Upvoting because sarcasm

The failure to detect sarcasm is a bad sign for this community. Almost everyone on here is the worst kind of cotton headed ninny muggins these days. They're terrified of being judged, so anything that can be interpreted two ways is just way too much for them. It's like being back in high school. Except I suspect a lot of the worst ones on here are middle aged. I wish I didn't like the format so much.
j4gr
Everyone is so judgmental these days. Because EVERYONE has said something on the internet and gotten shit on at some point. So lots of folks are standing ready to get their payback. Exhausting way to live.
rolliefingers
I think it is truly that simple.
lujotu
Sure it was sarcasm, but you still came off as a twat.
HikariShade
People didnt fail to detect it. Your use of it on this subject, however, makes you an asshole and a disrespectful one at that. THAT is why you've been downvoted, not that people didnt get you were being sarcastic. Your sarcasm was unwelcome and mean.

The world is on fire, it sucks. Get a chuckle in when you can.
