Hello!
I run a small cottage kitchen bakery!
I mostly make breads like sourdough and challah but I have a wide variety of stuff I make fresh daily for people every day.

All the cookies. These are my M&M ones.

Sometimes I get requests for individual packing.

My diy fermentation station. It keeps things temperature controlled and shortens the proving time immensely.

Sourdough bread with everything bagel seasoning mixed in. Was my first attempt at pane incamiciato.

Crumb shot of the bread above.

I also decoratively score my sourdough. No two are ever alike.

I make macarons. These were a special order for a customer celebrating her son's birthday and the inauguration.

Bagels!
When I moved to Texas, I couldn't find any good bagels so I taught myself how!

I have a wide variety of flavors. Asiago and Everything are my top sellers.

Hand pies filled with a locally made jam. So freaking good. I also use this same dough to make a homemade savory hot pocket with sauce, mini pepperoni and cheese, topped with Italian seasoning and shredded parmesan.

I also make scones! These are java chip ones.

I make bread for several small businesses in my area too!

I try to create a fun seasonal menu that changes every few months.

More cookies. These are my cannoli flavor!

This was a bigger order I had of over 300 bread rolls.

Gotta feed myself! Made a honey oat sourdough for lunch and it's honestly a good bread for everything. :)

Mini banana nut bread made fresh for a local shop plus my kid.

I also do freelance graphic design. This was what was sent to me...(yikes.jpg)

Fixed it up for them.

What was sent...

What I made...
I'm definitely still an amateur but I also don't charge for these projects. I'm just trying to help fellow small businesses that aren't as tech savvy.

Dexter the dog tax!

I would LOVE to run a cottage baking business from home but don’t even know where to start, especially in a pandemic. Your stuff is great!

Thank you! If you're ever interested in the start up process, it's way easier than you think it would be. Feel free to PM me with questions!

Do you use a seed warming mat in your fermentation box?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah that's basically what it is but it totally works! I followed this guide: https://youtu.be/yVYWMrBOL6c

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How dare you, @OP?!? I gained 3 lbs. just looking at this!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Awesome to see such wholesome, small businesses doing so well :) And it looks amazing!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you so much! I'm a one woman circus so it's definitely nice to hear my stuff is nice to look at. ?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm sure they taste good too :)

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey OP, where's the mature tag? Can't be letting the kiddies or the faint of heart see porn like this!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Big menu. Prodigious kitchen! Well done, OP.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Haha yes I have cut down my menu from what I first had but I like offering things you don't normally see as well. Thank you so much though!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I live in San Antonio! Will be making an order soon! :D

5 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Yay! That's awesome!

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

No garlic bread ?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Any of my breads can become garlic bread. ;)

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Your bagels look fantastic. What's the scone recipe like? I don't know what 'Java chip' means

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you! Basically I used coffee as a binder instead of milk and threw in mini chocolate chips. So it's like a mocha scone.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Love this. A guy in my neighborhood started a microbakery recently and it has changed my life. Fresh homemade bread twice a week. Incredible

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's awesome! You definitely can't compare homemade vs store bought. I bet the taste is incredible!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s a cool story too! He moved to NYC to work in a bakery but got laid off due to COVID. Started his own thing w/ delivery and it took off!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is cool! My situation started because of Covid too. It started with me donating food to families that couldn't find bread in stores.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then once things regulated, people asked how much I would charge for loaves and the rest is history!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

great looking stuff! You ever made herb/spice bread? they're very common in Austria, with LOTS of cumin

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've made herbed Italian breads before and roasted garlic sourdough! Cumin sounds like a wonderful addition.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

try it ^^ traditionally made by farmers and/for going up the mountains, so very simple recipe plus the cumin is very healthy (digestion!!)

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you can use it ground or whole (black cumin seeds) in combination with coriander and fennel.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I will try that as soon as I have some free time!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cool! ^^ And if you have any questions, feel free to message me

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nice baked goods...but I need to see more of "Joshie". Lol

5 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Here you go! :D

5 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

I have... questions.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I have answers?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What is joshie? Who is joshie? Did you draw him yourself? I'm not a baker or chef so I apologize if he is something of common knowledge.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"Joshie" is named after Joshua Weissman (who is obsessed with butts), the actual character is Gudetama and yes he was free hand painted on.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Oh, Joshie a freak. Lol

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

For the "contains the following allergens," would it be easier to cross off the one it does not have than to circle the 4 it does?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably. I get my kid to help me with labels sometimes and he tends to circle stuff. ?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ok. I am hungry. Might I have something to go to over seas asap please?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Holy shit you're here in SA!?! :0 BRUH i NEED! ♡

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People tell me they can smell my bread from outside my house. I've sadly become immune to it.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Crumb shot lmao

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Had to include it at least once!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Never too late to learn how!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ha I wish! I have a lot of friends in Europe I would love to collaborate with!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a former resident of Texas who also sorely missed bagels, I applaud your "Fuck it, I'll do it myself" attitude.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hahaha yes! I moved here 2 years ago from the East coast where good bagels were everywhere and it was my first recipe I perfected.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh I get you, my family is from Long Island. The best place I found was a Jewish diner (of course) called Deli News. Guy's from Brooklyn.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There was this place in VA called Chutzpah (also Jewish, obviously) that was my favorite place to go to! I also happen to be Jewish. ?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is super hard to find good bagels in Texas. If you are in San Antonio though, there is an amazing Montreal style place called Boss Bagels

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes! I've been there and have been told from my customers that mine are better but I do love their bagels and sandwiches!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

One Punch Dough out by Lackland? Got the name from your post. I've never been. I'll have to make a trip for some bagels Do you have schmear?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes! It's a cottage kitchen so I make everything out of my home. PM me if you'd like a link to my full menu!
