This is what the modifier "mass" means in context of "mass deportations. It means no due process, plain and simple.

I told my mom the gangs rounding up 'immigrants' wouldn't stop to check their papers. She thought I was crazy.

Is this the part where we pretend to be surprised?

The best response to these situations is a community response. Observers detect the incoming raid and warn the community, people who can impede and obstruct the raid, people who need to leave are smuggled out, random other people are mill about and add to the yhe confusion.

If youre willing to escalate the situation take pictures of the federal agents and post them with any identifying information. They have names, they have addresses, they have people that are vulnerable too.

And then report the agents as undocumented migrants

Guys, we know where this leads. We've all read history books. We've seen history channel. We've maybe even heard it from the mouths of survivors. Auschwitz is coming. It won't just be for 'them', it'll be for all of us. None of us are safe. No one's coming to save us, there's no United States to save us from... the United States. Trump and the GOP are in league with Putin and the CCP, the three superpowers are all led by fellow evil tyrants. WE have to stop this. Forcibly. EARLY.

Now I'm just thinking back on all those interview videos with POC who voted for Trump, saying how they wanted the immigrants who "didn't do it right like they did" to get rounded up. So confident that they weren't going to be included in that, because they're "one of the good ones". It'd be funny if it weren't so fucking terrifying.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Yea I wonder how many people that voted for Trump will get deported of sent to camps, or even killed, because of all the terror he's unleashing.

On top of it being incredibly cruel, this will backfire spectacularly on the economy. Instead of Trumps first few days, working on real issues, he’s signing EO’s removing anything to do with transgender verbiage from government websites. The entire planet is laughing at us, especially Putin, who orchestrated this thing waaaay back in 2014. All the gullible Fox “News” watchers bought it hook, line and sinker and are now even sympathetic to the Russian dictator. Same boomers who cheered in Rocky 4

Indeed! As the crafting of the 4th Amendment was in reaction to the blatant history of disregard for personal property and commonly accepted individual rights shown by the King of England (and his appointed governors, among others), it seems the Governor of New Jersey is liable for the problem if he doesn't defend American citizens in his state from the gross overreach by deploying his National Guard troops to rid the state of enemies (domestic) that have invaded, while awaiting reinforcement 1/

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

from Active Duty troops. But what if the Commander in Chief orders them to stand down and allow domestic disturbers of the common welfare to violate ammendments 4, 14, and others? Well, they are sworn to defend the constitution, so I would go with "unlawful order" and hang out waiting for the court martial AFTER ensuring that those enemies are either defeated or captured. Nothing less will suffice. I mean, what are they going to do? Allow the fascists to win? That's NOT why most of us joined.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I concur. Do it legally

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Too bad the cops are all the same side or I'd say have local police arrest ICE for kidnapping.

2 years ago | Likes 410 Dislikes 10

Depends on the jurisdiction. Sometimes the small town hatred of the feds is enough of a difference

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Don't worry, there's bound to be some fuck up of epic promotions, and when that happens ICE will throw the local PD under the bus.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Given that the police are unhappy about the pardons for J6 rioters, there is a chance, though small.

2 years ago | Likes 98 Dislikes 5

They're only unhappy because the J6 traitors attacked cops, they don't give a shit about the threat the terrorists pose to the rest of us.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The police aren't that unhappy about the pardons.

2 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 5

Some are mad, given that some of the rioters were wanna be cop killers. One of the big union/lobby police corrupt organizations threw a fit.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Unless they're so mad they're willing to cross the blue line and become good cops out a sudden, they will get over it.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

More likely they'll be mad forever and die mad. Which they were going to do anyway, so...at least it's funny.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They don't actually give a shit.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

They'll fall back in line rather quickly, can't fight fascism while also fighting to maintain your own fascist controls over a population.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

The cops don't mean shit though! People are so spoiled with their netflix and their amazon. It's the bystander effect. "I don't have to do it because my neighbors probably already did". Stand up to that shit! Small piece, can't believe I'm going to this point but someone has to, look up thermite, ok? It's basically super heated up rust (I'm SUPER GENERALIZING THAT). stick that crap on the hood of a squad car while they are abusing someone? It'll melt right through the engine

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 30

Go get em tough guy

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

The cops should mean shit though, and it is not OK that they don't.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

(Note: thermite is all well and good in principal but it's not that fast and it's much more difficult to get started than you might expect.)

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yup its incredibly stable. You basically need to preheat it for a while then push a sparkler into it so the temp spikes enough to start the chain reaction, not super useful unless you're trying to weld railroad tracks together or make huge iron sculptures.

I really doubt cops would stand by for 20 minutes while you pop their hood and build a dam on their engine to contain super heated molten iron.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

*cough* copper *cough*

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Definitely the spicier option reaction-wise, but I've never tried it myself and I don't know how difficult it is to ignite.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you mix a little with your iron thermite it makes ignition noticeably easier, add in a little magnesium powder on top and it will light like a fuse, magnesium lights copper which lights off the bulk iron

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey nonvoters and ptotest voters. This is on *you*.

2 years ago | Likes 261 Dislikes 22

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

So you're going to sit there in your indignaty and let a fascist take over? Give your head a shake. Get past your own ego and feelings, and focus on the mission.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Anyone who disagrees with this, you can give your excuses, but deep down, you know they are right

2 years ago | Likes 73 Dislikes 7

I disagree with this, but not because I don't think they share the blame. It's because I think we need to be careful not to let our feelings of betrayal overwhelm our anger at the right people. Our real enemies are the fascists, the people dismantling out democracy. So feeling justified anger and betrayal at non/protest voters is valid, but save most of it for the ones actively causing harm. Fighting off bystanders doesn't stop an active assault.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

question, what do you call someone who knowingly and willing, enables and/or supports a fascist?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

to note, that was not aimed at you, unless you fall into the category anyway, but the people who did knowingly and willing enable/support the fascists

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, you asshat, it's on the people that voted FOR the terrors.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

No, this is on the DNC for the refusing to allow people who could actually win to be in the ballot

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 81

Liberals for some reason have a very hard time admitting that an election is a contest that a candidate needs to actually put effort into in order to win. This obsession with sitting back and doing nothing because Trump, Republicans and their media apparatus that got us here will self destruct any day now, that the democrats are helpless innocents who did everything they could, has got to stop.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 7

Seriously the Dem glazing on this site is absurd

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

'allowing fascism and bigotry is understandable if the other option is only centrist'

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

As opposed to the DNCs "allowing (worse) fascism and bigotry is fine if the other option is socialism"

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 17

So you agree? The people who protested and didn't vote for Harris are just as guilty as the DNC for running Harris?

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

The people who protested? Absolutely not, there is no guilt there.

The ones who didn't vote, at least in the batlleground states, do bear some miniscule level of guilt.

But guilt can only exist in proportion to the power you have. Joe voter in a battleground state had maybe 1/10,000,000th the guilt as one of the decision makers in the DNC.

If you support the DNC youre nothing more than a sycophant to power, slightly better tatse than the maggats but the same fundamental failure.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 12

WRONG -- Kamala was the best available candidate

2 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 15

if she was them she would have won

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

The quality of her campaign suggests otherwise.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 26

She might have been the best available candidate who would refuse to do anything about gaza or make the DNC billionaire class uncomfortable.

Thats why this is the DNCs fault.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 32

Not only is Trump not doing shit about those same fucking things, but actively making the entire situation worse also... if kamala had been voted in we wouldn't be dealing with any of this shit and possibly vould have come to discussions through protest to make.our point, that shit ain't going down now.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

Thr people who forced us to choose between him and her are the problem.

And youre delusional if you think Ms. Harris would do anything in response to protests.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 19

The only options were, R) All the palestinians dead D)not all of the palestinians dead. 0 dead wasn't an option and sitting on your thumb has the same impact as choosing All of them dead. I hope your ideological purity comforts you as you watch a genocide happen having done nothing to stop it.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

There has been a genocide happening for over a year and the Democrats did NOTHING, except to link arms with the Republicans to supress the protesters and send more money to the zionist butchers.

It isnt "ideological purity" it is cold pragmatism. The DNC wont do anything and will stop anyone who tried. Where local democratic orgs can be reformed they should be, but in most of the places they are in power they will not be swayed.

A racially diverse oligarchy is still an oligarchy.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Why do you people keep giving the Dems a pass? They are impotent frauds who knowingly ignored data about their base. They knew what the stakes were too.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 7

Who do you think had the final action?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is all I think when people complain about non voters, instead of trying to understand why they didn't vote. I still voted but it felt gross because Dems are so right wing now, I can see why a sizeable portion of the electorate went third party or stayed home

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

That would have been a goid point four years ago, or even eight years ago. This election boiled down to "keep what you have" versus "watch as your friends get put in camps".

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because if you were given the known choice of "dive into fascism" and "maintaining what's currently going on" and you thought not voting was STILL the better option thus letting "dive into fascism" win, you basically fucked people harder than the Dem party did with their poor candidate choice. The math ain't that hard.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 4

I'd believe the "lesser evil for now" narrative if the Dems were being crucified for their historic incompetence. But they're not.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

This is in all brutal honesty the point, at the end of the day, media will blame anyone but the rich- people become resentful. How Fascism latches on. Every. Fucking. Time.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And that's why I voted. But we keep seeing this happen every election, we know what the problem is, and the Dems in power refuse to do what it takes to get votes: appeal to those who aren't willing to vote for a lesser of two evils. It just feels like misplaced blame to me.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I don't feel like it's misplaced blame, a VAST Number of those who are 'lesser of two evils' argumentists 'I won't vote for anything less than a progressive candidate' were REALLY, 'I won't vote for anything less than a WHITE MALE Progressive Candidate', do not fucking excuse the racism and sexism of these 'white knight' voters, it's not all, but fuck me a shit tonne of these 'better future' democrats are still sexist and racist as hell.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

It's that meme where the person does nothing just helps the right but most doorknobs don't realize that applies to Dems. This far right swing has been happening since the 90's and Dems either helped it or did nothing. They lose votes then they themselves swing more right and wonder why the fuck there's a 100mil registered voters that just aren't. I get the stakes, i think most lefties do so i voted but the average American with no real grasp on politics other than things have got worse, didn't.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

This is on Trump and his enablers. Our list of allies grows thin. Do not shorten it needlessly.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 9

They stopped being our allies the moment they stayed home or protest voted. We can't count on them for support.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People who wouldn't even get off the couch to vote against that shit goblin are his allies not mine.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Only if you want them to be.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

And what if I want them to be my allies? If I spend my time and effort courting them, what do I get? They don't vote again, but this time they sit at home watching TV but privately think to themselves that what's happening isn't great?

That's not helpful.

If everything the orange weirdo promised to do couldn't get them to put a tiny mark on a piece of paper, what do you think there is that will change their minds?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There were a lot of people who couldn't for one reason or another or who were disqualified. Add to that there were people who LEFT the republican party because they could not support the shift towards fascism, but who were villainized all the same for their failure to support dems. It's all black-and-white with you folks.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'm sorry, but it is a demonstrable fact that people who didn't vote could have changed the outcome. Fence-sitting only supports the fascists.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The writing on the wall was "Vote or people die" and millions of losers said, "Probably not me though." And stayed home.

It's a black and white issue.

And leaving the republican party means nothing if they didn't vote against it after.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You're completely missing the point. People had their ballots disqualified. People were prevented from voting for reasons outside of their control. You're busy blaming people who were victimized by the republican party for the success of the republican party. SMH.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Leaving the republican party means that fewer people voted for republicans. That objectively, materially, brings you closer to an electoral win.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

AND, I might add, from YOUR frame of reference that was the obvious outcome. But we are a highly propagandized & silo'd culture. Someone coming from a conservative milieu will not agree with you on those terms. Some withheld their vote from the republicans, and that helps you towards your goal. Painting everyone who didn't support Democrats and their frankly limp resistance as an enemy leaves you with more enemies than you need to have. Seems like bad strategy to me.
