I went to the local food bank and this is what I got.

Does anyone have any ideas? Any recipes or even ideas are welcome.

Anything coming to mind yet? Totally serious. Need some help figuring this out. Oh and the veggies on the stove is a tub of baby spinach that expires today but looks fine

Willing to accept any recommendations. I have yet to get any salt, pepper, flour, sugar, etc. if that helps any.

Whatever taco mac is maybe a taco mac omelet. Tuna biscuits would be like a tuna sandwich sort of thing. (My swipe to text corrected sandwich to anarchy for some reason but honestly, tuna anarchy is a good name.) Oh wait you have bread so just tuna melt. Look nothings wrong with a good old girl dinner/smorgasbord where you just cook everything as is and enjoy a variety. Good luck with the new place

Taco mix cheese, the mix could make wraps....add the fish and you're most of the way to Baja Fish tacos!

Hashbrown casserole yum! Make the handheld hashbrowns, don't cook. Add 2 eggs, dollop of mayo and mustard, 1/4 cup of milk and some melted butter. Butter your pan, scoop into dish and cook for 40 minutes until nice and bubbly. If you have tinfoil cover it for first 30 minutes then uncover last 10 - 15. You can also make egg salad sandwiches, hard boiled egg, mayo, mustard and bam yummy sammy with a side of tomato soup. Even biscuits if you're feeling ambitious. Congrats!

You've got the makings of biscuits and gravy there. Usually I add some ground beef to the gravy but it's not entirely necessary.

Can you explain more on the biscuits and gravy please? I'm not sure how to make it with the given items.

The biscuits just mashed according to the directions on the box. For the gravy, mix some of the flour, butter, and milk in a saucepan, season with a bit of black pepper and any other seasonings you fancy. Stir over medium-low heat until it thickens up. As stated, you can add meat or ground sausage to the mix. Once it's ready, just spoon some over the biscuits and you're all set. It's good with eggs too

Oh I gotcha now. I don't have any spices, or flour yet but I'll try to make a roux from the biscuit mix, then turn that into a milk gravy. That sounds like breakfast with an over easy egg! Thank you so much for the idea!

Make certain to include any spices OP has. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.

I don't have any yet but as soon as I do I'll add them in. Thanks for the recommendation. I appreciate it.

If you have a Dollar Tree 🌳 close by, that's where I get my spices and seasonings. Most of your items already have salt, so you're safe there. The biscuit mix can also be used to make pancakes if you get any syrup.

You could take some mayo, jelly, and jalapenos and make a dressing for a spinach salad. Cook the spinach that's left and combine it with some scrambled eggs

That's a great idea! Maybe breakfast!

Also you don't necessarily have to save the eggs to use with the baking mix for something like pancakes, you can substitute 3 tablespoons of mayo for an egg in most baking recipes with various degrees of success.

That's such a smart use of these ingredients! Thanks for the recommendation!

Thank you. I'll try that tonight and let you know how it turns out.

K. take your time and read the directions. You can add the jalapenos if you are into it. Also buy spice packets and use them for everything. it helps

This is my biggest advice, too. I got by with very little by just keeping a good stock of random spices to make things better. Buy the bags, not the overpriced shakers (ex. McCormick). Once you're more set up financially you can invest in a spice rack and still keep getting the bags to refill it.
