Russian Troop Lifespan On Front Line Reported To Be 25 to 35 Minutes

Jun 29, 2026 8:21 PM

Russian Pro-war Telegram channels claim lifespan of Russian troops on front line is 20-35 minutes.

Lifespan from training to deployment...10 days to almost a month if you're lucky.

Death by drone before they even get to front line.

Western intel reports Russian troop deaths..30k a month.

Hmmm. That long? I figured half that.

Those are Rookie numbers. Let's see if we can't get it down to 5-10 minutes!

Russia also possesses an earthquake machine according to the same bloggers, and hell, I believe them

Eastern Ukraine must just about become the new Ypres, they'll still be finding drone shrapnel 100 years later.

They'll be finding shit loads of glass fibre as well. To combat countermeasures, the Ukraines are using optical wire guidance systems. I've seen pics of trees festooned with more glitter in the form of single use fibres than Mylar icicles on a Christmas Tree. Shrapnel rusts, even most plastics degrade and decay. But most glass things can survive *millennia* in the ground.

30k a month 360,000 a year. yes, there will be a mobilization. unless more foreigners can be duped. of 16K NK troops sent to ukraine only 10K remain. but NK sending more.

. . . could someone explain to me why Russia isn't using drones to the same great victory? They're not technologically difficult to produce and use. There's no magic sauce. The premier weapon of the 21st century is... a toy with a brick of C4 attached. How did Ukraine capitalize on this so much better than Russia?

Yep sure. Russia is using the battlefront to ethnically cleanse the less white russians out of eastern russia.

should be less. They should die within first minute. russian orc deserve to die. whole country is fucking fucked up facist dictatorship, just like usa with trump, pootins best pal. I blame usa for stopping support to Ukraine. you fuckoland protects pedophiles but you dont support allies or good causes. This war would be over lot faster if you would not have voted pedophile to run usa. and you people living there are not doing enough to change things.

This is literally satire numbers that are similar to Warhammer 40k and helldiver life expectancies for troops. That's where we are at now.

1 month ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

The numbers from those franchises are directly inspired by Soviet and Chinese figures from WW2 and the Korean war (as well as aspects of WW1). It's not surprising that Russia is devolving back to this.

Back in the Starcraft days, the in-game story proudly boasted that adding combat medics had increased marine life expectancy in combat to "over nine seconds". I yearn for the day when that sort of life expectancy goes for anyone who willingly makes the choice to invade Ukraine.

Gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers

"killed or wounded in the rear" in this context often means brutalized by their own command structure.

No you see this was the genius plan to feed his people all along, soylent green is making a comeback... er I mean is now a thing.

What's crazy is that in Warhammer 40k, the authors basically made the entire military strategy of the human empire Russian adjacent, just millions and billions of foot soldiers with cheap laser rifles backed up by armored tanks hurled into a meat grinder until the enemy choked on corpses. And, the authors wrote that a soldiers lifespan in this grim dark hellscape of a universe, an insane brutal number, worse than anything we could imagine... Was 15 hours average.

I hope when Ukraine wins this war, its demonstrated ingenuity and supremacy with drones will help it toward prosperity. I'd like to imagine that just as things made in Germany are considered among the highest quality, that drones made/designed in Ukraine will be seen as a gold standard. Slava Ukraini. Fuck Russia. Fuck dictators. Fuck those who fund and enable them.

I was working remotely back in 2022. Had a Russian feller on the team. One afternoon he simply said "I'm going out, might not be back for a while" and a few days later he logged on from a different country and apologised for having been out of touch. Said he only got through the airport because when the police turned him back, he went back to the ticket counter for a refund and rather than give him the refund, they walked him around to his gate. I bet it's a lot harder to get out now.

you can always count on Russian corruption. Tight controls just mean bigger bribes.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Those bribes are probably pretty damn high. If they discover a recruiter is diverting potential troops away from joining the military that recruiter is liable to quickly find themselves on the front line armed with nothing but a shovel. There have been multiple reports of Russian commanders sending troops they don't like into assault squads on suicide missions.

Whatever happened to that American influencer that joined the army? Is he dead yet?

This is a different sucker. This talks about Leo Hare, who got swindled for a lot of money. Dude in question is Derek Huffman who got sent to Ukraine.

The size of the combat bonus is inversely proportional to your likelihood of surviving to collect it.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Commanders often force soldiers to hand over their money (including signup bonuses) in order to not get tortured, killed outright or sent on a meat wave assault. All of this has been extensively documented on camera, often by the perpetrators themselves.

Sad fact: rape is regularly used as a disciplinary tool in the Russian military. A man who screws up is gang raped by the rest of his squad/platoon. This has led to a freakishly high HIV infection rate among Russian soldiers, as many of them also use intravenous drugs.
