I've got the same thing but mine is a Lipoma on my back that I just haven't had the time to get removed. Thanks anthrax vaccine.

I had one in the same place for years, ruptured internally and got infected and had to have it cut away, almost wished I could have done it for the satisfaction

Anyone know what happened to the author of this comic? Last update was a year ago.

I have a cyst on my wrist. Sometimes it hurts and i get pissed.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ganglion gang. Cept mine was in the scar hollow of a 10 year old surgical scar on my foot. Took too many attempts to get rid of it *shudder*

♪Because your cyst, your cyst is on my list...♪ Of all the ways my mind has mangled song lyrics for amusement, this has to be the worst and I'm shocked I have a reason to share it.

He’s American and doesn’t earn enough at his full time job to afford health insurance.

Got my Quasimodo tumor (desmoid) frozen off from the inside bc it wouldn't stop growing. Greedy thing.

If you know the kind of desks in grade school that had the metal bar attaching the desk to ther chair you know whweee mine bumped every time I sat down, it was excruciating and the skin was see through thin… I finally got fed up and sliced it in a very wide circular motion with a razor blade. By the time my hand made it about six inches away the pus was forced out at such a velocity it hit my already distant hand. Still have the scar but it was a great relief

Had one on the top of my scalp that was 28mm. My surgeon didn't want to try removing it except in a hospital.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm assuming by "except in a hospital" you mean rather than a doctor's office or something? Because my first thought was "well yeah, he's not gonna perform surgery in a McDonald's"

Just a reminder, if you got any pimples or other blemishes that don’t go away, get them checked out by a dermatologist. Skin cancer is a thing.

I have a cyst on my head and somehow one year it got expelled when a new layer of skin grew beneath it and it was like this stupid piece of corn that was growin in my head. Also, then I sorta had a dent where the cyst used to be. Also, the cyst grew back again later. Stupid biology....

Yeah you gotta get the pocket removed or it keeps coming back

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

If something like this isnt covered by insurance, if you say it hurts or itches, sometimes it is suddenly covered.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They can get infected, then it's not harmless anymore. I had one get infected last year, I had to get it removed. It got...messy.

6 weeks ago I had one on my back get a staph infection. Got bigger for a week. Spent a week in hospital (including surgery, they cut out a hole around 5cm across by 1.5cm deep). I've now been wearing a portable vacuum pump for 4 weeks to seal the hole and accelerate healing. Not fun. :(

My wife loves Dr pimple popper and shit like that she constantly combs my body for anything she can lance/pop/ cut. She enjoys it.

3 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

At that point when she is eyeing you naked across the room, you got to ask yourself. "Is she checking me out cause I'm hot or is she just looking for something to pop?"

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean both versions end in a pop so either way I win.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She does it hygienically too, right? Clean, sterile instruments, and some isopropyl alcohol to clean where she does that stuff?

3 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I had a massive spot on my face the last week and it started weeping the other night. This morning I joined my gf in the living room and she was like “you have a wound on your face” and cleaned me up with detol and other antibacterials. It was much better than my tissue and water methods

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

She has worked in Healthcare almost the whole time I've known her so yeah she does all the proper stuff

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Cysts can be pretty dangerous actually if they pop internally, etc. I'd get it removed if possible.

In-cyst

Yup. Don't be me. 2 surgeries on my ass. I'll spare you the horror story. It was only an ingrown hair.

Not seen that for decades!

God I remember watching that as a kid. It freaked me out so much that. I still remember the scene where the boil takes over.

I’ve had a couple of cysts, one on my knee was as big as a quarter and got inflamed when I bumped it. Went to doc, he’d never seen one that big, decided to leave it alone and gave me antibiotics and it slowly went away…

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

If a cyst hurts on contact, no matter how light, it's extremely likely an infection. If the cyst spreads or grows rapidly, it's very likely cancerous.

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Meaning: get it checked out by doctor if it hurts on contact or growing. Probably isn’t cancerous but be careful and go to a doctor

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cysts that are infections do spread as well if you don’t clean them properly when they burst or you keep touching them and other parts of your body. Also change your bed sheets more regularly if you’re having an especially bad breakout

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This was just a larger than usual sebaceous cyst, the doc looked it over carefully and decided that it was safer to leave it alone and treat the local infection with antibiotics. He made the right call, it got reabsorbed and cleared up. The only pain was that it popped internally when I bumped it, then got inflamed. At least it didn’t start talking to me like the zit in Fairly Odd Parents :-b

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

word limit. nah.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, but at least for us Irish, the burn is followed by a terrifying amount of skin peeling and then slightly less white skin.

3 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Had a childhood friend whose skin peeled off in pieces the size of his hand after he spent most of a day shirtless during summer... I mean I'm blonde and pale but this dude had basically white hair and skin so white you'd be forgiven if you thought someone had put clothes on a marble statue if you saw him standing still

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Aren't you'se supposed to freckle in the sun?

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

According to Google, yes and no. If you're inclined yes but not all of us. I'm more Irish than anything else, but only 50%. So I'm not the best specimen.
