Got dang it, Bobby. You gotta flip 'em once every minute for four minutes to get those GOOD grill marks. I tell you what.

He probably slathered BBQ Sauce all over them so I am with the kid on this one. BBQ sauce is for vegans that don't like the taste of meat.

Judging other people on how they cook THEIR food is for people with nothing important in their lives to worry about.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That is the whole purpose of Imgur. You played yourself.

Woah I'm in the middle of watching this episode.

Buy meat at a butcher's shop?

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Did you use propane or charcoal…

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

'well maybe they wouldn't taste like crap if you used charcoal instead of the crude oil by-product you like...'

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This episode is the reason why I now belong to a co-op. I also get a farm share. It's great- I eat really well

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

What if someone asks for it well done? We politely ask them to leave Bobby.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It great that you can cook a good steak. Perhaps you should also learn to pick a good steak.

4 years ago | Likes 206 Dislikes 2

Someone get this man a promotion!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I go one step further and raise my own.

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I pick a shit steak cause I'm a cheap ass, doesn't mean they also don't cook well.

4 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 2

Cheap cut cooked well is better than a good cut cooked poorly. Lots of things you can do to elevate cheap meat.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Just a shame that all those antibiotics and shit will make you sterile

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Only a shame for some

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

such a great episode. hank working with hippies

4 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 2

Weird that I watched this episode last night for the first time in years

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

More like Hank working around hippies....because they weren't working...the hippies....get it...they were lazy....in that episode...

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

Appleseed!

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Hank was tolerant. He had his views and respected others. Except crazy ass dale who is basically current republicans. And assholes

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

...both the customers "I can't be the one doing it wrong", and the assistants "you're talking to the wrong person about complaint" attitudes

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Former butcher here ; literally no one in the store cares. Sale was made and that’s all companies care about. Fuck your experience - corps

4 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 3

You're not a butcher. You're just a retail employee who was assigned to the meat section. A real butcher cares and works in a butcher's shop

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

I know how to grill steaks to my preferred med rare - med, but I need help picking well marbled steaks that are prime and fall short.

It ain't fucking hard, especially on a grill. Reverse sear or sous vide if you want bad cuts to pass as decent cuts.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

also a proper marinade can true even the shittiest cuts into good eating

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hank just BBQs. He's a simple guy.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hated it as a kid, but it's a show that could have gone on perpetually and not suffered. It's what the Simpsons wish it could be.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

BBQ implies cooking well, just heating up meat outdoors is just grilling which he does cuz hes a shitty cook

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let me say with great confidence that nobody in a retail or grocery stores gives a shit and there's nothing we can really do.

4 years ago | Likes 1408 Dislikes 8

They don't give a shit because they take shit

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's partly why I don't care. I couldn't help you anyway so why bother

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Grocery chain in FL where shopping is a pleasure refunded my sister for all the items she bought and used to make a lasagna bc 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

the cheese was expired (she bought all the items at once). Dad retired from there and reported refunding milk that expired before the date.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

known some produce stockers that will spend time to help you find the best of the bunch in whatever

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Grocery store near me has a guarantee, I watched a woman return a completely eaten rotisserie chicken. Just bones, cause it was to salty.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they arent paid to give a shit, theyre paid to scan your items and take your money

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I liked King of the Hill, but they definitely missed with the idea that retail people will bother to argue with you.

4 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 1

If you watch the clip, the cashier delivers that line deadpan and uncaring. This is my fav episode. Hank joins a co-op because of this scene

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

The only answer you'll get from anybody who isn't service desk is that you need to talk to service desk.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And if they do, they just started and you should feel sorry for them.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Honestly I have come to hate new workers because they are far too happy. Like sickeningly so.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is nothing any of us can really do. We are all going.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I work at costco. People bring back scraps of packaging, say it was bad or something, and they get a refund...

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's why I buy from a butcher or at least a place with a union butcher counter. Or from my neighbors when they have a cow ready

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maaaaaybe they could help you at the customer service desk, but cashiers and stockers want you to die for even asking them.

4 years ago | Likes 130 Dislikes 2

I have too often had to utter the phrase "Sir/ma'am I'm not the one who sets the prices."

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes we do.

4 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

If I spend the last days of my life in hellfire and agony it will be worth it if I get but one revenge on a customer

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Rightly so. How oblivious do you have to be to ask for a return/money back from the people who aren't in charge of the money

4 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

When I worked at a gas station someone chewed me out over the price of propane. So I tore him a new one.Don’t get paid enough for this crap.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Nah, I don't want you to die. Just want you to go away.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Remember folks, yelling at the regular folk does nothing, we have no power. If you mad don't yell at me, get a manager and yell at them.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had family that worked at Vons, they do full refunds on meat, I heard Costco does, too.

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

A lot of grocers will refund all kinds of things most people think they shouldn't. It can get nutty.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I worked at whole fooda for a hellish 8 months and we'd refund meat. Guy raged about organic grassfed $60 steaks being too thin 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But it was his wife that ordered them like that. He admitted it and argued the butcher should have disregarded. He got a refund.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

... and then you guys would put that meat in the clearance bin for a fraction of the price and feed my college butt for years on decent meat

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No. Thats the worst part. We were required to throw it away because it had left the store. $60 organic grass fed beef in the compost.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That is pretty nutty. If you had good customer service you'd have ignored the customer.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

We weren't allowed to. I recall this so vividly cuz it was engaging. My manager told me to do the refund.
