As a non maga voting American, good. Stupid as$ holes

Tariffs are a way to sell what is essentially a tax to the anti-tax crowd.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

There is an unfortunate majority of auto workers who voted for Trump. But at this point, I say fuck'em. They voted for this shit.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm terribly sorry for those who did not vote for Trump. (And I'm not sorry for those who did vote for him.) But we are at a point where I firmly believe that if things don't get MUCH MUCH worse, then all those MAGA voters will not understand what they did. And yes I'm glad I'm not a US citizen. I wouldn't wanna suffer this. They have to now. I hope it brings realization and better times, I really do! I fear it wont be quick. Hold fast!

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Do it. Impose those tarifs. Lets see the fire burn

2 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 3

Well, half of the government will be unemployed probably by the end of the month, then adding millions in auto workers, probably farmers and many others with sky rocketing prices; we could see a coup before June at this rate.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Let me guess, Teslas don't use those parts.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Correct. Their most popular model is the most American made car you can buy.

That's what they voted for! Hope they enjoy every second of it.

2 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 1

This is all the fault of Obama, Biden, DEI hiring and everyone else except the tangerine turd who actually did it.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

This is old hat. They're most likely trying to engineer chaos and crisis, not just in the headlines, but also in reality. When scarcity is high, security low, and people are clawing for resources as society is stretched ever-thinner it will be the perfect breeding ground for radical ideology. People will become desperate and gladly turn on their neighbors if they think it'll improve things for them - ESPECIALLY if there are examples of it bearing fruit.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hate to see americans suffer because they're just being used now. I'm Canadian and it'll suck on this side, but remember, we didn't start this. Media is going to push hard that it is our fault, we did not start this.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The Trump regime doesn’t need popular approval anymore. He can crash the economy without giving a fuck. Indeed it’s part of the plan.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

When the American economy collapses. I'm expecting this from trump:

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And when that happens, inventory at dealers will dry up, parts will become nonexistent, and used car prices are going to go through the goddamn roof.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Remember that the collapse of the N.American economy suits the billionaires, they can weather this in comfort; the little people become serfs

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yep, it's bad.
It's also what was predicted long before the election. No one who has an ounce of grey matter and was paying attention is surprised by anything that's happened in the last few weeks, or particularly shocked by predictions of how things will go moving forward. Even all the nazi shit - that was pretty obvious as a result of just his '16 campaign rhetoric, but because he only put *some* people in cages last time, we were overreacting this time.
They fucked around. We'll all find out.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This could be our next FDR kinda moment. Maybe. Hopefully. Like the country goes down so hard that we elect a "radical" liberal who does all the progressive shit that needs to be done. Shitty that it's going to cost a lot of lives.

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

and a lot of livelyhoods. there will be many people who might survive, but in a only in a destitute state.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Linamar is an enormous, soulless corporation that has swallowed up countless businesses just as Trump and his ilk would.

I have worked for Linda Hasenfratz assisting with renovations in her ENORMOUS mansion. I am quite certain that anything she says about finance and it's impact on us little folk should be scrutinized about as thoroughly as the words of any billionaire.

She is referring to the harm she will inflict on others as a result of Trump's tariffs. She will be unaffected.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If he goes full fascist-capitalist he will deliberately crash as many companies as possible to make his family and loyalties buy them as low cost and make profit on them when cutting the tariffs in the future.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I live in oshawa, home to a GM Plant. Soon to be a Hyundai plant i'd wager..

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

that is the point. they want to cause an economic crash so they can steal every piece of property they can for pennies while people go bankrupt. the entire plan was to basically reduce the country to feudal lords with indentured serfs working on their land. they openly talked about it and how great they all thought it was going to be.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As someone who lives rural enough to actually need car type transportation to get anywhere this could be very bad.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh it gets better. The entire Midwest relies on Canadian oil because all the refineries for them are calibrated to only accept Canadian oil.

The find out stage is gonna be happening real soon.

2 years ago | Likes 79 Dislikes 0

The problem is that Canada in turn relies on the US to turn that oil into fuel.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well except the cunt premier of Alberta is a quisling, and will create a constitutional crisis up here before she turns off the taps.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Quisling is a reference I hoped to never hear about on this continent.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

A related problem in Canada and W. Canada in particular is an almost pathological aversion to risk. How long has W. Canada been an oil producer? For sure since after the 1970s when their oil became cost effective. In that time, we've never set up refineries to make our own diesel and gasoline. Instead we ship the crude to the U.S. and buy back the refined products, with the profits going to the U.S. Any time we try to build an infrastructure, the price of oil takes a dip, and everyone freaks. →2

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2→ It's happened so many times. We go the safe route. Now here we are with tariffs on our exports, and we can't do dick all. Can we put tariffs on U.S. imports? Sure, but we don't have any alternative sources, so we're just screwing ourselves. Even if we negotiate deals with other countries, what's being currently shipped is already earmarked to other markets, so we're talking months before we see anything. We're already at 1 in 4 living with food and/or shelter insecurities. →3

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3→ If Trump's goal is to break Canada and get it to join the U.S., it won't take long. Will he regret giving Canadians free rein in his country? That's a topic for another discussion.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's part of the plan, and they announced their intentions several times. Crash the economy so that people will become desperate enough to accept any job regardless of wages, and conditions.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Not that they can, there's no jobs anyway.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Before it gets to that point itll be riots in the streets. Then, an indefinite time of "Marshall Law". Then the United Nazis of America. At this point people will do most anything for bread.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"The bell riots" - 2 years off

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fox News will find a way of blaming it on Biden and Obama. Hell, the chimpenfuhrer already laid the aircrashes at their feet.

"We have always been at war with Eastasia", indeed.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No it won't. There seems to be no injustice that Americans won't just roll over and accept. Not only among the stupidest people on the planet, but the laziest too.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What my friends cheering on this garbage fire need to understand is that these impacts won't just be felt by auto workers, but all workers. Everything is connected. Also, trade wars are bad for both parties, a tariff itself is like a self inflicted sanction

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

It’s an untenable situation with the only way out being a painful way out. We have no choice but to start it so we can get through it and rebuild. Canada & Mexico are not going to be able to wait out the next 4 years. They need to call the bet, enact retaliatory tariffs, and let the hand play out.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No one's "Cheering" it. We're saying "Go ahead and touch the hot stove, you stupid fucks. Maybe you'll smarten up before the next election."

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If there is another election. If not, then the dumbfucks will willingly be cannon fodder.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The morons need to learn, we are all losing right now anyway because of the lowest common denominator in our country. At a certain point you have to just sit back and take what epicaricacy you can from the consequences.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I've been thinking of picking up a cheap lyre. But I know I have zero music talent so I feel like it'd be a waste.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Shut down before you have a replacement industry ready, hey Germans of Imgur does this remind you of something ?

2 years ago | Likes 315 Dislikes 12

Her name reminds me of what you would call your toddler, that's all.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No idea what you're talking about, but as a German I can confirm that Hasenfratz is a hilarious surname.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Lol, yeah

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But ... we're afraid of a safe technology we know nothing about

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Yes, this is good for the environment. We need to bring emissions down. Destroying the economy is one way to do it!

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 3

So this is all because they really care about climate change? Well that's OK then!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But they are still increasing oil production. It can't be that simple, no. It can't be taking people who know how to manufacture vehicles now having to work to manufacture other vehicles.... For war....

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It reminds me of a LOT of things, and none of them good.

But there is the hope that the entire nation gets a grip and learns from it in 20 years or so when it falls.

With none of totschweigen that Germany did for Judges, Policemen, etc.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey, svenske vƤn! German here :) I have to admit complete cluelessness :o Do you mean our Atomausstieg and our Energiewende perhaps? Because that was a bit "exit now, look for replacements later" style.

2 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 2

German words are so much fun. Like can you make a complete sentence one word? Hell yeah

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can't, but you can put a whole lot of information into one noun. It's not that complicated, just take away the spaces. E.g. there once was a "cattle marking and beef labeling supervision duties delegation law" called "Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz" in Germany.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

:O

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is a very German response. I greatly appreciate you, and I find it very endearing. I hope that you have a wonderful day in your beautiful country that appreciates you, and cares about you.

2 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

Well actually it was more like a "Let's make a planned exit in about 25 years"; "Screw that, let's cancel the exit and keep the nuclear plants."; "What nuclear plants can have catastrophic failures, who would have guessed, lets have an immediate exit that requires us to give billions to the owners of those plants"...

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

also the immediate exit comes with a few delays so it takes pretty much exactly as long as the previous exit plan

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah, but with the added chaos and extra cost of exiting the exit, reexiting and therefore reimbursing the energy companies plus watching Sƶder flipflop between "we need nuclear power", "there will be no nuclear power plants with me ever" and "WE NEED NUCLEAR POWER!"...

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"nice exit plan you got there, but can't we waste some more tax payers money??"

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

There's a few words in there that didn't translate, so I assume they're talking about closing your nuclear power plants in favor of cheap Russian natural gas, only to very abruptly lose access to said cheap Russian natural gas?

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Which is absolutely not what happened. Seriously, that's bullshit.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

OK so what did happen then?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Since the decision to phase out nuclear energy was made, the use of gas has stagnated, and he use of coal has declined substantially.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But for real, who could have seen that coming? Vlad is such a charming guy.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Exactly what i was thinking of.

2 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 1

We didn't do too well with the shutting down of BarsebƤck either. No need to replace the capacity, just buy electricity from continental europe. That's cheap.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Incorrect. Sweden has capacity for its own use, imports are for transit. The only reason the prices are high is because of the market. High prices in German y gives High prices in Sweden. Check the statistics differences if you do not include transfer-imports. https://www.scb.se/hitta-statistik/statistik-efter-amne/energi/tillforsel-och-anvandning-av-energi/manatlig-elstatistik-och-byten-av-elleverantor/pong/tabell-och-diagram/import-och-export-av-el-manadsvis/

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is only valid if a proper robust distribution network between north and south exist.
In practice, the south does not have enough.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Except, it doesn't really apply because 1: it's a hen vs. egg problem. You don't get anyone, least of all profit driven companies, motivated for Energiewende while dirty energy is so easly and readily available. You gotta make it the cheaper (or only) option. And 2: We coulda already had Energiewende, if our usual suspect right wing/libeal parties had taken their feet - and entire bodies - off the brakes. And yet those SAME parties are throwing around blame as if THEY weren't blocking it.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Well, if it doesn't affect Tesla productions, why would Trump care?

2 years ago | Likes 117 Dislikes 4

So much electricity in the US is sold on the cheap because Canada has so much from Niagara Falls.
We stop the flow and Tesla can’t power anything up.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Big tariffs coming on steel too. 60% if a vehicle by weight is steel. Trump is super dumb.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But isnt Maga also the least likely to buy Tesla's tho ? hell they seem to hate EV's more than even Jeremy Clarkson

One of them will find a way to coal roll in a cybercuck, wasting money in order to have the worst of both worlds.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The hick ones won't. The tech road and incels 100% love their cybertrucks.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

There are the redneck MAGAts, crystal rubbing MAGAts, and technocrat MAGAts. Most people are familiar with the redneck/white trash variety (they are the least educated and therefore more entertaining) but the technocrats are tsundere for Elon and will do whatever he says. They believe Bitcoin and swaticars are the future and if they give him all their money they'll be rich overlords and run the world better than other oligarchs. I wish I was kidding.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If Trump and Musk told them to buy Teslas a fair amount who could afford it probably would

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably also some that can't afford it lol

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Certainly!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's why trusk did the 'awkward' salute, to win the support of MAGAts to buy swasteslas...

2 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

saw a headline floating the idea of 100% tariff on teslas in canada.

2 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 0

Yeah if the orange moron actually goes through with them, targeting Elon in particular is very likely to happen.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

DO IT!! ALL COUNTRIES DO IT NOW

2 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 1

We should ban the things outright, they dont even have a safety rating

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed. I also think the Cybertruck should be flat out banned, instead of skirting regulations by calling it a pickup.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are cybertrucks even legal anywhere else? Like we're already talking about other models, right?

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I'm fucking loving this thread, thank you all. I lived in Austin the last ~5ish years and am in San Antonio right now so these fucking dumpster-shaped rolling refrigerators are literally an every-day-I-leave-the-house sighting thing and they remind me of that moron so.. yea, thanks for sharing my hell <3

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They sure as hell ain't legal here in Europe at least... for many reasons. One was seized in Britain just a couple of weeks back.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

It is possible to register in an EU country if you are moving from america and bring it with you as moving goods. Those vehicles gets usually a special permit to use on roads. Like DOT lights, non standard safety measures etc. that normally are illegal. Can't really see Cybertruck owners moving to EU.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Saw one in Calgary a couple weeks ago. Stupid fuckin thing.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They are illegal in the EU because they don't pass even the most rudimentary pedestrian safety tests.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Saw one in Kitchener Ontario for the first time earlier this month. Creeping up into Canada. Wasn’t too sure if they were illegal here, or just nobody bought them here until now though.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Man, I saw one in Bobcaygeon a couple of weeks ago. It's a cottage town, year round population is something like 2500.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There's a good number in Canada.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Na, only US are suffering with the cyber truck I think https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz0lldd30xlo

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's probably just going to be that once you'll see that exact car.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Speaking as an American, I sure as fuck hope so.

These MAGAts deserve everything they voted for.

2 years ago | Likes 846 Dislikes 14

my hope right now is that the economy tanks so hard so fast that either the military is forced to intervene or even republicans have to admit something is wrong and we can all band together

Agreed.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Damn biden ruined the auto industry! Or DEI! Or Kamala! Or anything but my precious baby boy donnie.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I think part of this goal would be to destroy UAW, the largest labour union in the US. That combined with the NLRB effectively being non-operational for the time being is a very large and direct attack on unions. Among other groups obviously

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It is, but the funny thing is that is that unions thrive in adversity. Work stoppages are part of their strategy and it is foolish to make unions that stupidly endorsed Trump into an organized opposition force

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Gotta be honest the level of apathy I have in me I agree fully I just wanna watch this world burn at this point.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The Wealthy control everything. The avg guy has no say whatsoever.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But it's not just them who will suffer. It fucking sucks. We can't see them punished without being punished ourselves.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

We have to suffer the mental anguish of watching our friends, family, and coworkers fall victim to this orange turd's bullshit. That's been happening for the better part of a decade. They should get theirs too. I'm tired of it.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I tell my son there are two ways to learn, the easy way and the hard way. America refused to learn from the last time, nor listen to what Trump had planned. Its is time for Americans to learn the hard way. It’s for the best. Let’s pray we learn this time while we all suffer.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That ship has sailed. We're all fucked.

They just deserve it every bit as much, if not more, than everyone else.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 3

Thats great and all, but there are many people who didn't vote for Trump, who will also be impacted by his trash. This will bankrupt some people, this will force people into homelessness. I'm not going to root for bad things to happen to everyone just to punish some people.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The bigger problem, other than everyone suffering, is that they'll never admit they were wrong. As long as the people they hate are affected they'll see it as a win while everything collapses around them.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well if they could avoid taking down the rest of the world with them, that would be swell

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

The rest of the world is just as fucked up as the US is. Ukraine. Gaze. Uyghurs. Germany. Brexit. Just

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It'll be lost on them. Guaran-godDamn-teed

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They will suffer it, but it will only radicalize them more. They will blame whatever enemy the party tells them that caused the problem, and double down, giving more power to the power to stop that "enemy."

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shit like this may be the only thing that saves democracy. If enough people are out of work and start holding republicans accountable maybe, just maybe they’ll find a spine

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They'll all start pointing fingers and blame everyone but Supreme Leader.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yea, but we don't. These idiots have no idea what they are doing

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not a good idea to piss off the people willing to storm the capital.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The sooner everything implodes, the quicker we can get this over with... Whether it's for the best, I'm just fucking done...

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Speaking as another American, if sure as fuck hope not. It's the equivalent of hoping everyone dies on a bus because the mechanic was told by his supervisor not to change the brake pads bc they needed to save money anywhere they could.
Why would you wish so much misery on so many?
I hope people realize how much, how far, and how wrong his reach is aiming for and do something about it. This is beyond ridiculous and he's killing our country for greed. It's despicable.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

He's just being realistic. Over 70M Americans voted for trump, twice. I can't imagine 7,000 Americans voting for the guy. We are fvcked. might as well get used to it.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"and do something about it". That time was yesteryear. This IS the consequences of those actions. Majority of americans (2/3) wanted this. Now they need to live with it.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

It's more like the passengers on the bus took a vote to either be late by 5 minutes so they could change the break pads, or cut the break lines right away and definitely die in a fiery crash, and 34 people voted to cut the breaks while blocking anyone from getting off the bus, 33 for the repair, and 33 had their airpods in and didn't respond.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What's really despicable are the people like you. "Come on guys, let the evil people do whatever they want without any consequences! It'll be all right in the long run! Flowers and glitter for everyone, yay!"

Fuck off with that bullshit.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Medicine is bitter sometimes. It sucks—as an American who voted D, it REALLY sucks to be along for the ride—but if the options are to continue sliding into hell or to bite down hard, endure, and hope enough people learn a lesson?

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Yeah. I believe those who are aiming for an infiltrated government, puppet politicians, religion led political leaders, and nazi inspired government brutality should get what they deserve. But the rest of the country doesn't deserve to deal with them. They deserve e better

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The United States need to break apart from the welfare states. The welfare states are who put this shit stain in the white house.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I agree, but the rest of us will also suffer, and that’s not great.

2 years ago | Likes 145 Dislikes 3

that's the fundamental problem with liberals, when push comes to shove they will take solace in the same crab mentality as conservatives, because their belief systems are both right wing. It's why they're fine with a quiet oppression, because as with any other right winger, it doesn't personally negatively impact them so it doesn't matter

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

The rest of us voted and therefore did everything within our civic (civil? I'm illiterate, sorry) power to prevent this from happening. The dude is right, the right wingers will get exactly what they voted for.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope, but the dumbfucks holding us back need it shoved in their faces exactly how bad their policies are. We've been warning them forever.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

It's the only way unless you want to do illegal stuff. They have to learn by mistakes better the mistake is financial instead of genocide.

It's not, but you all are the kind of people to help each other through difficult times. They aren't.

As a disabled woman and single mom, I know how to suffer, I've been suffering for years. I know how to hunker down and ride out that storm. I've hit a point where I want to see them, in their own hubris, suffer the way they've forced me to suffer. I want to see them beg for scraps while starving, I want to see them homeless and freezing. Because I know I'll survive it, I have before. But them? It'll kill a lot of them, and it'll hurt the whole time they're dying. And I will have no pity left.

I'm glad you're a survivor. I too am out of empathy for those who fail to listen to reason, logic and compassion. The "find-out" phase seems to be beginning.

My family has been below the poverty line for generations, survival is built into my DNA, lol. And me personally, I'm only 34 but I've had a pretty packed life of trainwrecks. Sometimes I wonder if one of my ancestors pissed off a witch who cursed the family line with bad luck because SOMETHING always happens just as things are going well.
