My dog loves getting his butt scratched or drummed but also bares his teeth a little while I do it. But then complains if I stop before he is ready. He doesn’t use his teeth to to complain, it’s mostly grumbling while backing his butt into me. His body language is very conflicted, I think it’s a little similar to how humans experience “cute aggression.” Like, I love this so much I’m going to put on my snarl face while I enjoy it.
