I really hope you have a good support network or group. Also hope your dads made plans on what to do when death hits. Dealing with it is beyond draining and heartbreaking on top of the emotional devistation you are now going through.

I'm so sorry. There are no words to make it better. If you can, try and get outside for a few minutes a day, and keep drinking water and eating when you can. I highly recommend the book "its ok that you're not ok" by megan devine, it really helped me after I lost 2 family members over the past 2 years. Sending love. <3

I'll warn you that it doesn't get better. But, you do learn to live with it. There's going to be a lot of "my fucking brain" moments in the near future. Spontaneous overwhelming sadness for no obvious immediate reason. Moments of "oh shit, that was awesome! I've got to send this to Dad, he'll love it!"... "oh wait..." All this being said, you've already figured one thing out: Self care/mood modulation through things you enjoy. And for that I'll send this:
