... is it? Like FDA isn't checking on anything, and it would be pretty weird if pot was the one thing in the universe that capitalism made safe and clean with no outside influence.

I don't know if it's *safe* but I haven't heard of cyclosporin on cannabis. Also, it typically gets burnt or otherwise heated before consumption, which denatures infectious material.

Commercial weed does go through pretty rigorous testing for mold spores, grower use of pesticides and process among other things. Every strain coming through a dispensary comes with its own "certificate of authenticity, or COA.

Pot is legal here in CA; the legal stuff is strictly monitored, tested, and tracked.
