I hate the word biweekly so much cause the whole point is to specify how frequently to do something and it fails to do that completely.

I’m so pissed off that the terms have become so confused in their use during my lifetime. Not sure when the dictionaries gave up, but now both words mean both situations.

Bi-weekly = twice a week. Bi-monthly = every two weeks. I said it, I was first, it is law.

100% agree! Weekly and monthly are frequencies. Bi means two not half. Doubling a frequency means it happens more often.
